he is an idiot and for what he did and he brought all this on himself. I must say though I'm perplexed at the whole saga '...... if a foreigner did this to an Aussie in Australia or to a Canadian in Canada or anywhere in the west this wouldn't even rate a mention .... it wouldn't even get onto the news most likely .... even if the Aussie went to the police, the foreigner may end up receiving a fine after charges of assault possibly, but that's probably all,, then it's over. why do they carry on so much here, why does every little mr meaner get on the news, social media ... is it because of Netizens ? is it because the west have more to be concerned about than idle incidents like this one... ?

well, as punitive punishment maybe he can cook it for the boy and his mama or for the police.

With all due respect Richard, I am entitled to my opinion based on what I have witnessed and what I consider fact. If you can't handle my negative post based on what I know then that's your problem. sorry to hear such bad news .... the problem with the police, the courts, the defendants lawyer and anyone else ... is that you don't know who's doing a deal with who ... he could very well have done some deal with the cops .... you just don't know. It's stinks, but it's a sad fact, you can't win here no matter what happens or how hard you try .... TIT ... the police will look after the Thai lecturer first ... they won't look after a foreigner against a Thai, and the courts are as much a sham also. Try your best to get over it and hopefully move on ...
