I have had used a water cooler before ... and I bought a portable AC - 9,000 BTU. The water cooler is cheap and nasty, it will cool you if facing direct at you with ice ...the problem is you have to clean them every few weeks or you will get mould build up in the honeycomb filter at the back. I gave mine away in the end. Now the Portable AC was fine, it was about 7,000-8,000 baht if I remember, it worked well, cooled a 30sqm room down to early 20's ...21-24c ...

I totally agree with this ...... OP .. the sooner you can get him into the Thai army the better. I couple of years in the army will sort him out ...... this plus make him admit his stealing and gambling addiction ... have him realize the shame he has brought on the family. mike, i'm not angry or anything, i listen to others and i'm a logical thinker .... but ... I just can't for the love of me think why any town would like and accept drug users and addicts. yes ,everyone has different points of view , but drug takers are despised and warrant policing in my view and in my home town.... haha you are just taking garbage ... to try to convince folks that drugs are ok .. well, maybe in the US or somewhere but not in Australia .... and certainly not at my hometown. Drugs users were and still are considered undesirables and outcasts ... hence not a drug problem at my hometown .... good farmers and city folk know that drug takers are not welcome and need policing. good community town imo.

DRUGS are wrong .... I don't care what you try to preach. Having a beer at the pub or home is not wrong. If you use drugs or sell or push drugs then you are an outcast in society. You honestly think that drug users are not frowned upon in society ? you think it's fine to use drugs ? I just can't believe that thought ... In my home town when I was around 10 yrs old, nobody was a drug user and if you were then you were an outcast. Same in many country towns .... people do go and socialize at the pub over a beer which is normal in country towns, but taking drugs and addicts is not considered normal and is not liked at all. anyway, I've gotta run so let's enjoy the day and don't think too mut ..
