  1. For a few years now, I've been looking for a source of 'factory type' egg layer chickens, preferably young and unsexed, as I would like to raise them and let them multiply in captivity. The last two out breaks of bird flu has made the big companies clamp down on distribution and we have visited farms that are set up like prisons and they say that chicks and even over the hill live chickens are not available.

Does anyone know of sources of [any age] falang egg laying chickens?? rhode island reds or barred rocks are the most popular and best producers.

I live in the north, CM.

    Thanks in advance...

They sell the red chicks brown egg layers for 34 baht each grow very fast but there in Buriram .

You should be able to find in Cm go to the animal feed store thats who sells them here .

  8. I would suggest flying to Ubon Ratchathani (Thai, Nok or Air Asia) and then renting a car. Budget have an office in the terminal building at Ubon.

Yeah, it looks like flying to Ubon was the most convenient. But next - I need a driver, since I don't drive - any suggestions?

    Thanks, Dave :o

Fly to Khon kaen you will find a driver to take you to Mukdahan and it wont cost a lot .

  10. If you are talking about digging a realy nice 30 x 20 lake straight edges that realy looks the part and use the soil for your own use _ landfill -having the soil moved by trucks in your land the tops in price should be around 33k to 42k .

If you are having a hole dug and the soil thrown on the edges by macro no trucks being used to move soil you should get the job done for 21k .

If you are having a hole dug and they want and are willing to take the soil you will get this hole dug for free .

    Best regards
