I agree the 2nd last trip home with thai, the 'spare' jumbo still had the communal movie screen on the fwd bulkhead of the section, a blast from the past, the last trip flew from brisbane 777's my favourite.

Just read an article in bangkok post, the last of 6 A380's ordered by thai airways has been slotted in to the SYD-BKK route, with their passenger cappacity should keep prices reasonable or compete with qantas- emarities, a win win situation for us down under!

Perhaps in hindsite you should have got him to have a stopover in BKK for a few days, a trip down to dr BJ's in soi 7/1 & he might have cancelled his onward journey.

If i owned the chickens, & the neighbours dog attaked & killed them, I would talk to the neighbour, ask him to stop his dog's behaviour 1 way or another, if that failed a machete across the back of the neck (the dog) does the trick. problem solved, hopefully the dog will get eaten, (saves digging holes) be just about time for a yen leo after that lot.

It seams to me that none of these boat operators hold any qualifications in boat safety, navigation, responsibility,hence the frequent collisions,accidents etc. W hy doesn't the government properly train these operators with a diploma or annual certificate with refresher tests, first aid cert. should also be compulsory.

Although I'm a avid fan & supporter of the coupon food courts, yesterday's visit to don mutant had me surprised, my 1st visit for 6 months but how there's a steakhouse, subway, KFC in the domestic terminal concourse just avoid that dreadfully Burger King ( a bad example of the franchise)

I am flying to hanoi with air asia from don muang next month, are the book-in counters in with the domestic counters or a seperate area, I guess 2 hrs check in for int. flights

I'm off to Hanoi in may, prefer to stay in the old quarter, mid range, possibly 2 days, then halong bay 2 days, 1 nite, then return to hanoi, 1 more day, then fly down to Danang for 5 days in city/ beach area.(hoi- an)

The only time I flew buissness class was during 2011 floods @ don muang, nok-air canned, got the last seat on thai 2 nites later,buissness class out of swampy, a thai bloke had his pet cat meowwing all the way, I jokingly said to the person next to me, We should throw the <deleted>**ker out the window they always land on their feet.
