  1. After the MH370 disaster, malaysian airlines lowered their fares to attract more punters, which seemed to work as I know people including myself who took advantage of them, my flight being SYD-BKK via KL with a 1hr stop was reasonable @$820 aus, booked for later this year. However with this 2nd tragedy MH17, and after reading a post in thai visa about the financial situation of Malaysian Airlines, & wondering about that supersticious 3rd accident, I enquired about a possible refund with my local flight centre travel agent, and to my surprise right now they are offering full refunds, so I enquired as to flight deals around that time & got a direct flight with qantas for $70 cheaper & threw in an extra day.

just to let people know if they have flights with MA, they can possibly do same as I did if they wanted, and my condolences & sympathy to all families of lost passengers.

  4. You'll be breaking the law in thailand attempting to hav a relationship with a 16 year old, there's a stay in the monkeyhouse & associated media headlines, if you have a divorce in england with english wife, you'll be the lowest scumbag ever, leaving family for 16 year old, friends & family disown you, THINK CLEARLY, you can have a G/F relationship during your stay s in LOS with a girl closer your age, & remain the responsible husband ?dad when back in U.K. see how things are in a few months/ year.

  8. I can remember about 28years ago, Patong beach phuket, skandia bungalows ( how many remember them) One breakfast I ordered bacon & eggs, but asked if they could put the eggs on the toast, the waitress looked at me like I just landed from Mars, anyway bacon & eggs came out as normal, then the toast, I thought ah well,no problem & enjoyed breakfast, just as I was about to get up & leave same waitress plonks down a plate of 2 fried eggs on toast, I smiled & stuffed it down, didn't need lunch.

Another time @ my thai wife's farther's house just after we were married, the father in law asked if I'de like some fried chicken, to which I replied yes, next minute I hear this almighty squark, I got up to see what the problem was & found a bird (throat cut ) tied upside down on the clothesline blood everywhere, ah well it's fresh.cheesy.gif

  10. MY house outside of sankhaemphang is brick/ cement render/ tiles, steel roof frame, I got 2 industrial size whirlybirds on the roof, my idea is to install ceiling vents in living /kitchen room ceiling, thus sucking hot air from living areas, as my house in australia is set up, vents are available @ home-pro.

  11. I would have challenged the bloke, told to switch off as per crew instructions as he could possibly be endangering the aircraft & passengers.I flew A.Asia hanoi- bangkok earlier this year, there was a young bloke untidily dressed (fellow passenger) who was bare footed, I give him an amazed look, & pointed to his feet, and said where's you shoes mate, so as the A.A. staff overheard, but they allowed him to board,I would have told him to walk, am I a cranky old bastard, I don't think so , just brought up with more respectfull manors to fellow man.
