  1. I think it's a win-win, thai smile & nok air route sharing will free up planes, cut costs for both carriers, 20kg free baggage allowance, if they transferred your baggage between flights, free seating, all bonuses !All things you don.t get with A.A. (my last domestic choice)

As for don muang it has to be the most usefull, best LCC hub in the region, now also with scoot & nok air partnering means more choices from oz.

    great stuff.

  2. After the MH370 disaster, malaysian airlines lowered their fares to attract more punters, which seemed to work as I know people including myself who took advantage of them, my flight being SYD-BKK via KL with a 1hr stop was reasonable @$820 aus, booked for later this year. However with this 2nd tragedy MH17, and after reading a post in thai visa about the financial situation of Malaysian Airlines, & wondering about that supersticious 3rd accident, I enquired about a possible refund with my local flight centre travel agent, and to my surprise right now they are offering full refunds, so I enquired as to flight deals around that time & got a direct flight with qantas for $70 cheaper & threw in an extra day.

just to let people know if they have flights with MA, they can possibly do same as I did if they wanted, and my condolences & sympathy to all families of lost passengers.

Jammed packed with my bag on lap, must have been 20 or so in there, the driver would make stops & get out & talk to friends or checkpoint? with everyone uncomfortable, sweating, children crying, only about 1 hour but seemed like 6.

  5. You'll be breaking the law in thailand attempting to hav a relationship with a 16 year old, there's a stay in the monkeyhouse & associated media headlines, if you have a divorce in england with english wife, you'll be the lowest scumbag ever, leaving family for 16 year old, friends & family disown you, THINK CLEARLY, you can have a G/F relationship during your stay s in LOS with a girl closer your age, & remain the responsible husband ?dad when back in U.K. see how things are in a few months/ year.

  9. I can remember about 28years ago, Patong beach phuket, skandia bungalows ( how many remember them) One breakfast I ordered bacon & eggs, but asked if they could put the eggs on the toast, the waitress looked at me like I just landed from Mars, anyway bacon & eggs came out as normal, then the toast, I thought ah well,no problem & enjoyed breakfast, just as I was about to get up & leave same waitress plonks down a plate of 2 fried eggs on toast, I smiled & stuffed it down, didn't need lunch.

Another time @ my thai wife's farther's house just after we were married, the father in law asked if I'de like some fried chicken, to which I replied yes, next minute I hear this almighty squark, I got up to see what the problem was & found a bird (throat cut ) tied upside down on the clothesline blood everywhere, ah well it's fresh.cheesy.gif
