"Not suspicious" is code in Western Media for suicide.

We used to stay at Sunee but as soon as T3 opened it quickly became our regular go to place. ⅓ of the price compared to Sunee as well. The old man who owns it is great to talk to if you get the opportunity.

Rural Ubon Ratchathani remains untouched by the looks of that. ^

I have met the owner of T3 a few times and am 99% sure it isn't linked.

Anyone play golf with him?

Either that or the 'Sir' drank way too much 'Chai'

So grumpy that you have to seek out one year old posts to rail at?
Does anybody know if the OP is still alive? Maybe they dumped him somewhere in Savannakhet, which of course would be quite understandable.
You were the OP remember?

Just another Thai gang attacking a farang for entertainment and another sorry excuse why.
Happens everyday now.
Did you even read the article?

Just send a letter to your wife adress, or you also forget your own road name ?
Ermmm he is in America - how long will that letter take do you think?
There is something new called e-mail, you might give it a try.
Maybe he will - if he could actually call her.
Haters gonna hate.....
Good luck rapom, I hope you get this sorted quick.

Last time I was at Don Muang there was a 7 11 charging normal prices.

Open a bank account in Thailand. Very easy to do. Arrive with a pocket full of pounds by head direct to super rich exchange to get the best possible rate. Walk across the road and deposit wheelbarrow load of Thai baht into your account and then just use the Thai ATM where ever you go.

Thanks Will27,
That link is quite handy, thanks.
Biggest problem I can see is that she will need to do a ELICOS course. Being in regional Victoria it appears that is not an option as all the places are located in the city

Hi Everyone,
I have a almost 16 year old niece who is just about to finish high school - what is legally required anyway. She is a smart student and is trying to work out what to do from here. Stay on at school and go to a Thai university or take up my offer of studying in Australia.
Has anyone done this before and can tell me what I need to do to make this happen? My plan was to get her into a years intense English classes before further study of her choice.
Obviously Australia gives out hundreds of thousands of study visas every year but which one would be best for her? Any hints and tips to make this process smoother.
Thank you.

paying the inevitable fines,
You must either be a regular law breaker or perhaps the police just fine you for your attitude.

When a room can cost between 2,000 and 50,000 a month and a meal can cost between 30 and 500 baht I really think you need to provide a little more information.

I am really looking forward to one day driving from Ubon to Danang. Anything that helps this plan is good news in my book! it will also cut down on my regular road trip to Lak Sao in Laos. Thanks for the info ubonrthai

That's correct Ubonjoe.
If anyone is interested I documented the entire debacle here: http://www.memock.com

What a nightmare it was indeed! I still shudder when I think what we had to do to renew passports last year. I do hope that they are up and running again. They were very quick and helpful when I last used them.

600 was my last price at T3 and 1600 at Sunee. Closer to ⅓ then any other popular fraction I can think of.
