  1. No comment should have been made on that one. Scary to think about the manageable number when I read that. Hopefully it is more than two digits
  2. QR code mentions the date of arrival so basically it would not work I guess
  3. You are paying 150 Pounds for a year coverage ? I guess it is only for Brits or UK residents, isn't ?
  4. The QR code specifies a date of arrival so...not sure
  5. ???? But it is weird to find this statement in the Alternative Quarantine ????
  6. Yes , thank you I understand I just do not understand that this is mentioned in a 10 day quarantine
  7. I know but...I chose the Alternative Quarantine with a day day at the hotel to be able to get a QR code. Hence that should not be mentioned in that category
  8. That is correct : fully vaccinated allowed in. but as I mentioned in an earlier post , I got this in the QR code email 1.3 Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected through RT-PCR test (issued within 72 hours before departure). If the Port Health and Quarantine at airports in Thailand discover that you have invalidated COVID-19 RT-PCR test result or if the type of the test is not RT-PCR method, you will not be eligible to be exempted from quarantine, but you may be allowed to enter Thailand by quarantine only.
  9. I did not take this route. I went for the third category. When I chose Test and Go whatever Sha or AQ I never got a QR code. Only when I took the Alternative Quarantine did I get it
  10. Confused: yes landing in Bkk but why should I tick AQ hotel whereas there is the Sha+ choice? I do not think that it will make a difference on the documentation Staying at the Pullman (across my condo )
  11. Thanks to the posts on the various thread I applied via the AQ and got the QR Code labelled "Alternative Quarantine" but one thing I find odd is the accompanying message Aren't the applicants supposed to quarantine for 10 days already? Travelling to Thailand 1. Please prepare your documents to present at the check-in counter and to the agencies concerned when arriving in Thailand. The documents are as follows 1.1 Passport with visa (if required) 1.2 Thailand Pass QR Code (on mobile device or printed copy) 1.3 Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected through RT-PCR test (issued within 72 hours before departure). 2. When arriving in Thailand, please present your documents and Thailand Pass QR Code to the immigration and disease control officers. Remarks: if your airline requires additional documents, kindly prepare the additional required documents, or you may be denied boarding. Aren't the applicants supposed to quarantine for 10 days already? Also (worrying) is the "if airline.......denied boarding" What other documents can they require apart from the above and the ticket ?
  12. 11 November But today I changed to 24 (got nervous) In any case I am two days away from their 7 WORKING day deadline....let's see
  13. Mine is a SHA+ Initially 11 November Changed it to 24 November ...today when re applying
  14. I agree and I am taking my chances. Furthermore all the information I input is truthful. The only "mistake" was the choice of plan (3 instead of 1) Anything better than overstaying in Schengen in any case
  15. Thanks for your sound advice allowing a way to get the QR code
  16. Thanks again I have applied through the AQ and ...instantaneous confirmation followed by an immediate QR Code. Whatever happens upon arrival is another matter ...the main thing is being able to get there as my spouse's visa ends the day we are leaving Schengen
  17. Thanks I will try that I am also confused by the fact that they include "Thai Visa (if required)" in their list and there is no request of that in the application, and, so far, no possibility to upload more than one document
  18. I must be on the wrong side of luck...no QR code after I applied six days ago...no email from the @support and of course...still no QR code following my email of enquiry
  19. The logic in it has lost me: 90,000 applications and 30% approved right....so how come I am in the first 15% or so, according to their initial statement, and I still have not received a QR code after 6 days waiting patiently, but nervously. Also some posters who wrote to the MFA were lucky enough to get their QR code within 12 hours whereas I have not gotten any reply. Not lucky I guess
  20. That is for sure, but there are quite a few countries not imposing quarantine upon return whose vaccinated Nationals will not come because of the quarantine and the administrative difficulties they would have to go through to set foot in Thailand Well, that does include the mandatory hotel quarantine for vaccinated people who would, otherwise, choose to stay at their Thai homes.
  21. Agreed and wish I could. Unfortunately I have to get back before the end of this month : (
  22. Are you arrogant or are you just blessed with a tunnel vision ? You are saying that among the tens of thousand who have applied , the few thousands who received their QR code, are the ones who "spent time researching and reading up on requirements and instead of merely complaining followed the simple instructions...and all you had to do was upload documents.....". The 50,000 or so other applicants are simple-minded ? What a poor comment !!!!!
