  1. I cannot believe the US Immigration authorities are letting this guy come and go, as he apparently does with ease. Also hard to figure: if he is now in the US, why isn't Thailand requesting his immediate apprehension and extradition? Thailand caved in big time in the matter of extraditing Russian citizen Victor Bout, who had committed no crimes in Thailand, and was here legally.

This monk is a hot potato for somebody or several somebodies, high up in the Thai food chain. All that money, all those cars, all those busy bank accounts...what a story.

Can't also believe that local news organizations in the LA-Riverside area aren't camped out at that house in lake Elsinore. This story is so sleazy, it's perfect for American TV news.

If he's "coming and going" as you claim, then I'm sure he has the required immigration documents. How he got them is a different story, but he's not been convicted and his passport has not been rescinded. As far as the local news descending upon his property, have you called to see if they're even aware of the story?

  2. You have to first convert (Rip) the songs to a format (MP3) which can be stored on your HDD and then transferred to the memory stick. There are many free software programs such as Audacity the will work, but I use iTunes which will automatically convert the CD music to an MP3 file and add it to my iTunes library. It's easy to then move to a memory stick or burn to another CD in MP3 format.

  3. In 1997 I was saving money here in Thailand for building my retirement home. I had my money in Bank of Bangkok. One day the exchange was 25 baht to one dollar Then after the collapse my U.S. dollar was about 50 to one . In just a few day I had LOST half of my money on deposit here.

I also have one other thought about strength of the baht, What happens if there is a major change here ???

Unless you changed your money back to US Dollars, you didn't lose anything. If you did change it back, then you deserve it!

I remember my father moaning about how much money he lost during the Black Monday Wall Street collapse in 1987, so I asked him how much of his stock did he sell after the crash. He looked at me like I was crazy and told me he would never sell stock after such a huge drop in price. I looked at him and said "then you didn't lose any money, did you?"
