2. Well we will find out tomorrow...they are here... :D

Did you get yours yet HD?

And I would like to know your criteria for sports bikes if you think the Ninja 650R isn't one. A ZX-10 it aint, but after witnissing Tony's ER6n upclose and in action today, the faired version should definitely qualify by anyones measure. (But I am in love with it so I am biased) That 2 bros exhaust was truly music to the ears. Very loud music, but that's how we like it. :D

Sorry scuba, i`ve been to busy riding around trying to loosen her up.

Picked it up yesterday, i was back on the phone to the korat manager today re something else, and there are still 2 greens, one black and one blue unreserved or booked or bought...

If the guys in the south/bangkok are struggling to get one they should call him...he will deliver.

As for the performance, too early to tell as to tight yet, as for the sound "pish" lawnmower sound..

First mods to be sportsbar v2 and a two bros and rear tail tidy...... :)

Oh i`ve opened a can with the 2 pot comment it would seem, but i stand firm it aint a sports bike in my eyes :D

  3. Insurance for the 'f' version, covers both vehicles in an incident and 90% of cost of bike if stolen and medical for both parties....etc etc .

I'm in the north, may have an impact on cost, but the manager used to do the 13000baht insurance, buit i guess he was happy to pass on the cost reduction...and i`m assured the cover is the same...hopefully i wont need to test it... :)

  4. Korat open today, and when i arrived all 6 ninja 650r's lined up in a row, two with reserved stickers on..my blue one and one black one....2 greens and one black and blue left (but maybe two blacks if the other guy doesn't show).

Also two er6n's sitting with no reserve, ABS versions @247,000...oh and 1st class insurance 7,500 baht..... :)

ps: love my blue but i may put the silver lower fairing from the black, but i think i`ll do a quick impression in foto shop first to see if i like the idea....

  5. Yeah ok, was just a bit of light hearted fun to get Tony hot under the collar :) Anyway we'll leave the reviews to the man himself or anyone else for that matter who should be getting one soon...... maybe myself if the Green is as appealing as the pics..... as the 2 Blue ones have already been snapped up :D

So when is the promise date for you BKK guys, looks like Phukets will be Friday by all accounts...

    Enjoy the ride fellas :D

Top joke, it puts all the Hysteria into perspective...after all it's just a 2 pot imatation of a sports bike.

And i, and probably others would not entertain it in our respective home countries..but TIT and the options are few here.........yes i have one booked, but i dont think i'll be in for a big rush when i take delivery, but i'll wait and see if i'm wrong.......currently, i'm on a 4 pot 750........keep it rolling guys, but i want to be first...please....It would appear friday for all, as up north quoted the same..

  6. Well picked up my green Ninja 650R today and i must say the fairing makes a huge difference and a very different ride. They are awaiting my response from Kawasaki as i'm the first owner in Thailand. Don't despair guys your gonna love it :)

Congrats on being the first, :D:D let us know as soon as you can re: the ABS and has it got the Bt's fitted?

I see they are also putting out the er6 n`s with abs @ 247,000 quoted, so the price difference has narrowed between the two...

  7. Thanks for the reply guys, more info, zr750 2002 and i`m based in surin...Rama 9 kawasaki have never been any good as far as i`m concerned, i went for info on the er6n just before it arrived, and they hardly approached me in the shownroom, phoned a few times looking for genuine kawasaki parts for my bike, again not interested, mi me (spellling)...oh and red baron even worse...Just looking for a good honest, lol, mechanic shop that can supply these shimms...i can get from uk or states but i dont want to pull the cams to read the shims then wait 2 weeks to rebuild....;.thanks again cheers

  8. I wonder if anyone has an idea where i could obtain 13mm underbucket shims here in thailand, need to shim down my kawaski as it`s clearances are on the bottom range... I believe they are used across a range of makes eg. suzuki etc..thankyou

  9. Went there with my g/f for food and a beer, very disapointed. Expensive and to be honest the food was poor and well below what i expected...maybe try the restuarant across the road, i`m talking about the farang connection in the bus station, i dont know what the new one is like..?

  10. Thanks dave i`ll take a look if i can find the shops, could you please give me a bit more info on the address`s `for my garmin zumo, it`s struggling with what i put in. I need a #20 torx bit with the hole in the middle to adjust the timing on my kwacker 750..any big bike farangs in surin?..thanks all the best..

  11. I`m looking for a number 20 torx bit with the hole in the middle, but will buy a set if anyone can advise me of where i can find a set in Suirin, none in big c or various shops and market so far..
TAMPER PROOF SECURITY TORX BIT SET
thanks

  12. Don`t know the best section to post this so went for general, i need fibreglass and Cataloy paste. But my girlfriend doesn`t know what i mean, and i dont speak thai to that level, and when i ask her to ask in stores or car shops we get a big strange look..

Can someone please tell me what they call it in thai, i`m going crazy with this, i need to do a repair on my 750cc motorsia, and when they see it they just say (big motor bike no have) in fact no have is thailands most anoying phrase...i need to mention i`m in issan and not bk or patts...thanks so much

  13. Hi

Just go for it, no problems, i just got a new bike with no WP it just cost 500B more, and the shop will do the paperwork, not even proof of address, have 4 bikes in my name now, never had a problem

Go to transport office with you IDL and change it for a Thai licence, just do a few test, nothing to worry about very easy.

Thanks for the reply, it would appear yet again money talks....

Do you know for sure if Red Baron in BKK will this? thanks
