Wrong answer.....have already spoken to Kasikorn bank and yes they do.

A simple question and hopefully a simple answer.
Will any Thai bank issue you with a postdated cashiers cheque?

A cheap Airasia flight to a neighbouring country should do the trick and fix the shopping needs

Had already thought of that. Will be flying to somewhere in Malaysia.
Thanks and GL

Having considered the above, it makes a lot of sense for my wife to do a visa run returning to Thailand with her new Thai passport.
Thank you guys.

Thanks for that Beano.

Why not get her to cross out of Thailand at a border and return with a new Thai Passport. Surely easier than doing all the 90 day reports and other stuff. And a good chance for some shopping
---------------------------------------
Yes, already thought of that...................and how they love shopping, but my question is, can she use form TM47?

My Thai wife recently entered Thailand using her British passport and was given 30 days stay and yes I know, she could have used her expired Thai passport.
She travelled to Pathumthani immigration and there she was given 12 months visa reporting every 90 days.
My question is, when she reports her 90 days by mail, can she use form TM47 - Alien of staying longer than..........

Here is my story for those that are interested:
For the past 12 months I was in the possession of a retirement extension (with re-entry permit which I never used), having to report by mail to initially Bangkok and finally to Sam Khok (I now reside in Pathumthani).
My wife is always saying to me, why don't we travel outside Thailand more, you are always at your computer and never go anywhere.
A few days before my retirement extenson expired, I travelled to the Royal Thai Embassy, Jalan Ampang, KL to apply for a non immigrant o visa mulitple which I obtained at 1430 hrs the following day.
COPIES of documents I submitted were:
1. Marriage certificate in Thai language together with English translation (both of us signed)
2. Blue book (signed by my wife)
3 ID card (signed by my wife)
4. UK passport (signed by me)
5, Letter from my wife to embassy requesting approval of visa (in both Thai language and English translation)
6. Bank passbook showing balance over B800,000 (only B100,00 is required for this visa)
Now I hold a non immigrant o visa, it is a case of I MUST leave the country every 3 months.
Furthermore, as we all know, this type of visa can be extended for 15 months.
Now what country are we travelling to in June? I know something, it wont be a 1 day visa run. The wife is happy now.
As this was my first trip to KL, any help I can provide on this type of visa, or where to stay or whatever, plse reply.

I have brought this subject up before but unfortunately, I still cannot refresh one of my favourite websites.
Here is my story:
About two months ago, I have probems accessing the internet. A true technician visited my house and corrected the problem. I understand it was a problem with the wireless modem.
Before the above problem occurred, I was able to access www.iii.co.uk and there was no problem in refreshing the page.
I can still access the website but cannot refresh the page having tried clearing the cache and using Crtl f5.
If I change to MyExpat network, a UK provider, I have no problems refreshing the page.
Obviously therefore something to to with True, Just guessing, maybe the wireless modem when it was last configured.
Any experts out there that may be able to suggest something.

In other words, a stay of 4 days, a holder of a Thai passport will not need to apply for a Malaysian visa.
Is this correct?

Does the holder of a Thai passport require a visa for Malaysia?
Approx 2 years ago I remember a Thai passport holder was given 6 months on arrival visa.
Thank you.
