After reading all the answers for which I am very grateful, I think I'll go for the Omeprazole as I see this as the culprit . I think I can get it at the pharmacy. My wife will check it out today. >>> Yes, available under the name Miracid.

Cardiovascular problems. I have a heart history. And probably to prevent strokes.
-
Thanks for elaborating. Quite expensive this stuff. Do you need to take this every day?
-
Interesting! Never heard of this. Under what form do you buy this and how much does it cost? In Malaysia they have a liquid form in 300 ml bottles. You might be my savior ,,, who knows. But anyway, I will still continue to take Magnesium every day.

Good question. I don't know. She also took me off Aspirin 81 mg which I was given as long as Omeprazole. My next doctor's appointment (in a government hospital} is still far away on May 3, but mostly I always get another doctor. I hate those visits as I usually stay there from 06:00 to about 11:30/12;00! My meagre pension does not allow me to go to a private hospital.

I'm a diabetic since probably about 2 decades and among all the medication I take I have been given one omeprazole 20 mg per day for as long as I can remember. At my last check-up on JAN 26 my doctor took me off omeprazole. Not a good idea. A few days later I developed acid reflux which has persisted to this day. I relieve it a bit by taking half a tsp of baking soda diluted in some cold 7-up once a day. Then I came across (video link removed by Moderation) of a doctor that prescribes her patients Magnesium. When I further researched I found that one specific type of magnesium to take is magnesium glycinate. Google it, there are many videos about it. I looked on Lazada and found (name removed by Moderation) product which I ordered. It arrived yesterday, so last night I took my first capsule. Apparently there are some fake capsules on the market and I do hope the product I bought is not one of them, since the website mentioned on the container is offline. I'll let you know in about one month if my condition has improved or not. Who knows that this post might help others as apparently many people suffer from acid reflux.

Thai Airways takes flight with new Boeing 787 jets
Dario replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
True for the Dreamliner Boeing B-787, especially the one assembled in Charleston/SC. It is to hope that the ones Thai contracted are all being assembled in Everett/WA. What brought me to this conclusion? This documentary I watched just by coincidence last night. -
For many years I have relied on Xendpay to transfer my pensions from Europe to Thailand. Transfers were relatively quick. I usually received my money the same day in the evening in my Thai bank account. Xendpay also had good conversion rates and very low transfer fees. But now that Xendpay is in receivership I had to look for an alternative and today I made my first transfer with Wise. They promised that I would receive my transfer within 6 hours in my Thai bank account. So far, after 7 hours no money has arrived. My I ask my co-members how long it usually takes for you to receive your EUR transfers? Some answers might give me some insight. Your help is much appreciated.

Here is an important update for members who can't get their selfie approved. I had sent Wise many selfies of which I thought they were good. Every time Wise said they could not read my passport. Two days ago my daughter said that she understood why Wise did not approve my selfies. On the information Wise sends us they show a picture of how the selfie should be made. On that picture the passport takes at least half of the page and the head the other half. My daughter helped me to make a selfie according to those requirements, I uploaded it and it was approved, Voilà!

Health Ministry campaigns to encourage Thai couples to have children

Seems as Xendpay bit the dust
Dario replied to Dario's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I just read an article in the Financial Conduct Authority. They state that Rational Foreign Exchange Ltd. (Xendpay) has entered special administration. The directors of the firm concluded that the firm was insolvent and applied to court for a special administration order. In other words: Xendpay will not return. They are insolvent. Now I have to find another way to transfer my pension from Europe every month. -
Seems as Xendpay bit the dust
Dario replied to Dario's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
The problem is that Wise also starts to screen customers in Thailand and don't accept their selfies with passport. So, which company now to take for Euro transfers to Thailand? -

They are the same company. -
Since Xendpay stopped two or three days ago, I tried to log in to Wise and they sent me an email to my old mobile number. Finally, I found a link how to change my mobile number. Now they ask me a selfie holding my passport. I sent them already 7 times and seven times they tell me that cannot read my upload. Sev en times! I sent them clear photos, exactly the way they want. It's like Bitkub, same problems. I'm at the end of my Latin, how we say in Switzerland.

Yesterday Monday, NOV 28 I wasn't able to access Xendpay, in fact, the whole day long. This morning the same. When I delved in more I got this message: Dear visitor. Xendpay Limited are currently not accepting new customers or accepting new funds. We are also currently not able to return customer funds with Xendpay Limited. We will continue to keep customers updated. Well, that's disappointing. I have been a customer of Xendpay for many years.

Anyone with a small drone in Surin province or vicinity?
Dario replied to Dario's topic in Sports, Hobbies & Activities
This drone was actually meant to hover above our home and get a view from above. The idea to see the harvester move over my wife's land came later. For me this is not worth to spend 7000 Baht. -
Hi everyone, a few years ago drones were expensive, several ten thousands for one. Today you can buy a drone with a 8K camera for around 1'000 Baht. So, I bought one from Aliexpress, this one. I wanted to video tape when the harvester cut my wife's rice. But I wasn't able to connect the wifi. I live in northern Surin province, somewhere between Tha Tum and Rattanaburi, Is there somewhere not too far somebody with a drone (I would also go to Buriram if necessary) who could show me how to connect the wifi correctly. I add the instruction sheet. Any help would be very much appreciated.
