  1. Seeing the impasse with the 250 senators who would not approve a Move Forward government, in my humble meaning there is only one thing which could, and I think, will happen: Peu Thai will not side with the Move Forward party. They will form their own coalition together with Bhumjai Thai (Anutin), Palang Pracharat (Prawit Wongsuwan) and United Thai Nation party (Prayut), maybe some others as well. That would push Pita into the opposition. This might also explain why Anutin has not made his moves yet. I might be wrong, but I think I'm not. Time will tell.
  2. to gamb00ler: I should have marked "popular" instead of renowned. Sorry.
  3. OK, looks like everybody is drinking soda. Got that.
  4. My pleasure. I have learned a lot from Dr. Eric Berg. Have a look at his videos, there are countless. I'm extremely health concious, because I have diabetes type 2 since about 20 years.
  5. What you say about Swiss tap water is very true, I knowit very well, because I was born and grew up in Swtzerland. A question: is Singha carbonated water (CO2)? Maybe a stupid question. But whatever, Singha, Leo or others made in Thailand are very strong for my taste. But if they are carbonated water like San Pellegrino or Perrier (both very expensive) than those would be the best solution, I think. If they're strong, they can be dilluted with some additional water.
  6. I just saw a very interesting video on Youtube entitled "Why You should Drink Carbonated Water" made by renowned physician Dr. Eric Berg. I had researched about this years ago and I remember that this is an expensive affair. Are there any of our members who make their own carbonated water? Please let us know how you do it. Thank you.
  7. Update: I just remembered how I did it last year. It just came like a flash. It means for me at the age of 77 years my brain is still working fine. All is set up and I'm already watching the tennis matches in Rome, Italy now.
  8. Almost a year ago I bought on recommendation of an Aseannow member an Android X96 Air box and subscribed to an IPTV service called Motion TV. I'm very happy with Motion TV as I can get TV Channel, I'm a tennis aficionado. I just bought a second identical X96 Air Android box. I contacted the person who helped me in May last year to set up everything. Unfortunately, He hasn't answered. I contacted him through the forum and his email address, but no success, so I'm afraid I won't have his help anymore. Is there any other person in this forum who could help?
  9. Oh really? I've lived in Thailand for 36 straight years. This year might not be, but for me and probably many others. it feels hotter than ever. The attached picture was taken oday, not one hour ago.
  10. May I ask: why a dehumidifier? Does it make a big difference? I only have an air purifier.
  11. Yes Crossy, I second that, 28ºC same here at night. Water tank shower still OK as for now.
  12. I live in northern Surin province and for the past weeks we've had and still have scorching heat. I'm 77, heave regularly heart problems and am diabetic since 20 years. In normal years no problem, we put on the air conditioners, but now the electricity price is sky high, so during the day, I use fans instead and take a cold shower every 60 to 90 minutes. Cold showers cool down a body fantastically, but only for a short time. After 15 minutes everything feels hot again. How do others cope with this unbearable heat? Please let us know. Thank you.
  13. I paid less than that for 2 bottles 300 mg 90 caps each. But: I'm expecting to be charged by DHL. I'll let you know.
  14. from Lazada? That must have been expensive. I just ordered straight from PipingRock. They sent with DHL, so I'm expecting to pay additional taxes and charges.
  15. Has anyone bought products from PipingRock and have them shipped via USPS? I would like to order Benfotiamine 300 mg.
  16. Thanks chickenslegs, we must have had the same idea at the same time, I have just sent them a message. I hope they can help. Thank you anyway!
  17. In October 2020 we bought via Lazada a 55" smart TV of the xxx brand. It came with a 3 year warranty. Early February this year it broke down. Only a few stripes left. We contacted xxx in Bangkok and were told that they have a contact company in Surin, about 75 km from our home. We had sent pictures of what the TV showed and they said, they wiill have to repair it in Bangkok. The contact company in Surin would come and pick it up at our home and send it for repair to Bangkok. On February 11th the TV was picked up at our home and we were told that the TV would be sent via Kerry Express to Bangkok the following day. When we contacted xxx in Bangkok via Email we were informed by a certain Khun T. that the TV had arrived at their premises on February 16th and that he had asked his superiors to exchange our TV for a new one. That approval apparently has not been realised. We have contacted Khun T., many, many times, but he has stopped sending us any news. We are completely flabbergasted by the behaviour of xxx Thailand. We don't know what to do. Is there anyone who could lead us in a good direction? We still have 8 months of warranty, now 7 left with more tan one month lost and the company has not repaired or exchanged our TV. So be forwarned if you are in a similar situation. Defamation is the issuance of a statement about another person or business which causes that person or business to suffer harm or loss. A statement does not have to be false to be defamatory. Libel is when the defamatory statement is published either as a drawing, picture, painting, motion picture, film, or letters made visible by any means or by broadcasting, dissemination or propagation by any other means. Defamation is both a civil and criminal charge in Thailand and elsewhere in ASEAN.
  18. I just watched a video on youtube from Dr. Eric Berg entitled "The #1 Best Remedy to Prevent a Heart Attck for $3.19. Here is the link >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0kS26BA5BY. I would like to try niacin. I read that if you also take Aspirin every day it would reduce flushing. Are there any other members who have experience with niacin 500 mg?
  19. What 's your point of writing bad about Chuwit? I hope that RTP fleece you at maximum when you pass a police checkpoint.
  20. We use about 650 Kw per month. We are the ones who pay for the poorer people who pay absolutelynothing, although they do consume electricity.. In my wife's parents house they never had to pay one satang ever since they built a new home about 30 years ago.
  21. I just read in the Bangkok Post an article which states that electricity prices will go up again in January around 14%. Prices increased about 20% already on OCT 1. That would be a compund increase of 36.8%! Is there anyone who knows more about this?
  22. For heavens no! Bitkub will suspend FTT (FTX Token) trading on Monday 14 November. Don't get trapped! >> Delisting info

  24. A small device I bought on Shopee doesn't work. The seller's admin asked to send them a video. I did that. My video is just 13 seconds, measures 90 MB. But only videos up to 30 MB are allowed. How can I trim this video for free? Can anyone help? Any help is very much appreciated!
