No their a no gyms here. The neartest should be Sakong Nakhon.
Are you based in PK? I am around 8km aways from Phang Khon.
-
They might soon come to Sakon Nakhon. I know of an American that build for his lassie a 3 million Baht house just a few meter from the lake (water reservoir). The American died last year and last month some government agencies came to visit her and asked her who approved the building so close to the damn as the land belongs to the government.
She is now looking for someone to buy the property but it might be knocked down including her 30 Rai's of Rubber Trees.

If you have an Adsense account outside of Thailand and you pay offshore their should be no problem. Their has never been a problem or anyone ever been court for running a blog inside Thailand but just make sure the money comes offshore and you will be fine.
BTW MY adsense account has been activated for ages and revenues always have been going to Europe.

First of all I feel for the OP.
I would go for a 50:50 divorce and take half of all assets even if the house is somewhere in Nakhon Nowhere. I am sure your wife will not let go of the cash but with a good lawyer you might get 50% back. The only problem I see is if she starts running up debts as you both will be responsible for it until the day you are official divorced.
If you still have funds left offshore, another option is just walk away from it.

Hello
I recommend RON CRYSTAL at AFG Venture Group on Silom Road.
He knows all the ropes and the knots in them!
Good Luck
Allan
I'm not sure someone prepared to work illegally in Thailand would make the best lawyer to have.
His name doesn't sound like a Thai name, and only Thais can be lawyers in Thailand.
He is Thai by the way

Look at the fascist putin's rating, he is 85% supported by russians. As I were born in the former soviet union, I lived among them all my life. So believe me they are rude and ignorant not because they "sound" rude or can not behave. It is because they are just an arrogant bunch... Even at the soviet times living among people of other nationalities they treated others like second sort. I understand their language and what I can hear are constant complains about Thais and about foreigners. How many times I saw them bullying gays or senior Thais. What they always like to say is that the only problem in Thailand are Thais and foreigners. So dont be surprised if one day putin will come to defend his russian majority here. Get rid of them as fast as you can. The only business will suffer in Phuket and Pattaya will be baht busses and 7/11. Money for their tours never reach Thailand anyway.
Do you think Obama and Cameron are any better then Putin? I have nothing against Russians. Now lets guess the same people that complain about the Russians surely complain also about the Chinese and who knows tomorrow they blame the Thai's.

They will all be not guilty to not only give happy to the Thai people but also to the political parties. This is called Reform and Reconciliation. The only one that doesn't get off the hook will be Thaksin.

So does it mean that the Temple of the Emerald Buddha will offer the same prices as to Thais?

OP, I would suggest you to do the following. Call her and tell her you are going to play some lottery and you had a dream of a lottery number and you are going to buy that number this week. Next Monday you tell her you won 20,000 pounds and you want to marry her asap to take her out of the bar.
She now knows you don't have currently any money but once she knows you sit on 20,000 pounds which is one million Baht she may speed up things and you get a clearer picture of her. Ask her you want to marry her and that you read on the internet that you must pay a dowry and some gold. I bet with you that she will ask for Sinsod and a couple of Baht gold and a big party in the village.
In regards of bringing her to the UK your chances are very slim.

OP, I think you have found a gem.

I wonder what are ADM Narong Pipatanasai qualifications that he was appointed Education Minister.
I think it is the deputy that is important and not the Education Minister.

Got to be honest:
I like the following persons:
Don Pramudwinai - A very good diplomat
Suthi Makbun - Former Governor of Ubon and Korat
Krissanapong Kiratikorn - Not that bad
Rachata Rachatanavin - I would have liked him in the Education Ministry but lets see what he can do at Pubic Health.
Veera Rojpojanarat - Culture Ministry and possible on the clampdown
Pichet Durongkaveroj - Not so bad
Sommai Phasi - Not so bad
Narongchai Akrasanee - Excellent as I know and worked with him with Brooker Group
Apiradi Tantraporn - Good choice
Chakkamon Phasukvanich - I know him from Indorama and he is a good choiceKobkarn Wattanavrangkul - Surprise but another excellent choice - Would have liked her in the Industry Ministry and no Tourism Ministry but time will tell
Pornchai Rujiprapa - Another good move
Peetipong Phuengbun na Ayutthaya - Another good move
OK, looking at the generals I am not a fan of them but looking at all the deputies that have been appointed even if they are yellow/red they are all some of the best persons any cabinet can have.
My guess is that all those deputies will be one day become the Ministers when the army pulls out and possible call election in 2016/2017. Yes I know in 2015 but I don't believe it.
The cabinet is not that bad and I know several of those deputies. Surely if you keep the army out those deputies are clean.
I think Prayuth is serious of changing the country. Even the democrats can't come up with this kind of cabinet.
PS: The deuputies are very loaded but they earned their money. That some of those deputies have billions don't surprise me but I want to know what the generals and their wifes, children hold.
Once again not a bad cabinet.

I had leukemia (ALL) at the age of 3 years and was exempted to participate even at the age of 6 years from most of all school activities. The order was issued to my step parents and school teachers at the time. Furthermore I ad two annual checkups all my life and only neglected it when I moved to Thailand 24 years ago.
With 40 years I had a relapse in Bangkok and the hospitals said stay away from any outdoor activities, holding anything heavy, stop diving and swimming in the ocean. When I carry my boy who is 10kg for over a minute I feel like passing out and have to give it quickly back to my wife or put him on the ground.
If a leukemia patient doesn't die on leukemia, he often has a heart problem or other health problems..
The parents also not at fault should have followed their son to keep an eye on him during the hazing from a distance so they are able to step in.
RIP

50 years ago it all started with the GI but the GI's are long gone but Pattaya became the sin capital of the world.
The whole operation is billions of Baht per year and the hookers DO NOT PAY TAXES AND ARE LITTLE VALUE in the tax collection chain of the government. I mean their are some hookers that make daily 3000-5000 Baht a day and they should be taxed accordingly. If they report the wrong numbers and the government finds out they could loose the license. Currently everything is controlled by the police who pockets all the cash. If the government wants to start cleaning up influential figures they got to start with the police and collect taxes.

Interesting article in the Bangkok Post from the new acting police chief that he wants all prostitution completely gone in Pattaya.
I think he is referring to street walkers.
The article seems to focus on cleaning up the beach chair/vendor issues and the disproportionate number of ladyboy prostitutes working on the streets rather than a bar environment.
Possible but the police chief said: Eradicate prostitution completely in Pattaya. They want to make it in a family orientated destination. To reform the police they may have to take the business away from the BIB and possible come up with some plans and relocate the whole operation away from Pattaya in the middle of nowhere which still would be ok I guess.

Good start: Maybe the General could also go after Sathit Pitutecha, the former MP for Rayong or the Rayong Governor Sayumphon Limthai for letting it happen.

Where did the magical figure of 12 years come from? Anybody?
It means 12 years in power.
-
Maybe he was on Yaba and couldn't pay for the next kick.
I know a farang who got 200 rai's of Rubber at 6 years age now. His Mrs told him to buy the land cheap and plant rubber. 200 Rai at 50,000 Baht is over 10 million Baht just for the land. I warnedthe farang not to buy it but he listen to his new found family and love in Isaan.
I have been asked for the past 3 years buy land and plant rubber but my answer is sorry I am not a farmer. THose offers by the way was not made my my family in Isaan

yes - all the middle-classes with petrol engined cars will be delighted. But all those trying to earn a living with a diesel truck will feel they have been slapped. do you think there might be some politics involved?
I have some friends in Bangkok that has been very upset of the Yingluck administration for keeping petrol very high but diesel very low. In our office many staffs complained about it. Those chaps will be delighted this Monday in the office.

Looking at those tour guides in the picture they remember me of the jetski operators.

Thailand should do the same as Singapore and some European countries. Offering a bribe is a criminal offense and as well accepting the bribe.
A cop in Singapore that takes 100 S$ is going to jail for at least 1 year, being kicked out of the force.

Show them the original birth certificate of your child. Have a photo copy of the birth certificate and let it be signed by the mother. Copy of ID card of the mother and signed, copy of the blue house-book (TB) and signed with your first name as the father. A return-ticket is/was required for me in Germany.
Army clamping down
in Isaan
Posted
I am not a fan of the army but Ya'ba is a large scale problem in Thailand and as well in Isaan. We had several raids last month in our village and one from our village boys was arrested who by the way was a good student. As he was classified as a dealer (they found 50 pills) he got a few years jail. The father also had to turn in his rifle which looked like a M16 copy. Further more in Phang Khon we had three night entertainment spots and they are all close.
