If he wants to appeal he either puts up the fine, or a bond to that amount as anybody else would have to. Why should he be treated any differently? That no bond company is willing to risk that makes commercial sense, as they think the risk of him defaulting is too high. That none of his 'friends' or family will put up that amount shows the same thing.. That he cannot put up that amount in cash shows that he lied about his finances. That his MAGA crew can't or won't stump up that much shows that perhaps his base is neither as large, as strong or as rich as he wants the world to believe.

Why would the court need to steal ANY properties? He was accused, had his days in court. judged my a jury of his peers who who on the evidence decided that he was guilty as charged. He stood before the judge as any other person would do, and the pronounced sentence. Now if he is as rich as he pretends to be, all he has to do is put up the money or post a bond for the amount. That no company will put up the bond as their assessors don't believe that he has enough funds available, is Trump's problem. From what I can gather, he can sell his properties in NY, provided that they are un-encumbered by loans, mortgages, etc, raise the funds that way. pay the fines and that will be OK. However if/when the properties are sold, they may not reach the price that Trump thinks they are worth as the assessors will not be working for him. but for the courts and what they think the properties will be worth on the open market.

You can walk across the klong over the road in a lot of places at the moment, and not get your feet wet. In 2011. the klong was 25 metres wide in places and nearly 4 metres deep at the bridge. Also in 2011 the klong in the big village was about 250 metres wide and flooded the village crossroads for about 100 or more metres each way.

I hope so. I have 2 x 3,000 litre storage tanks for fresh rain water. One is just about empty. and the other is down to about 1,000 litres. The good thing is that I managed to replace all the water pipes and taps in the cooler dry season. Now all we need is a couple of weeks of good rain to wash the roof and fill the tanks. My view is similar to yours, except that if you allege that he committed this alleged crime, you need cast iron proof and evidence that he actually DID commit a crime. Evidence that you don't appear to have. I could allege that you for example broke the law on les majeste and that you should be punished. The problem I would have, is that I have no evidence, and quite rightly, the charge would be thrown out, simply because of the lack of evidence that would stand up in court. What you believe, and what I believe, are meaningless unless it can be verified and backed up. If you wish for another example, Thaksin was legally the PM of Thailand from 2000 to 2006. He won the election in 2000 and won the 2004 election with an overall majority and did so openly and legally. That is a fact. He was illegally removed from power by a military coup. Another fact. Were the coup leaders ever punished for that. No. Another fact. Going into a grey area, if there had NOT been a military coup, would Thaksin have been charged or not? BTW if you claim that he did, it is up to you to prove it, and not me to disprove it.
