And STILL the trumpers here on ANN (probably in the USA as well), are moaning, whining, crying and screaming how unfair it is that there is (at least in their minds) 2 levels of justice. On the bright side this is nothing compared to if and when Trump gets convicted. Sure some convictions CAN be plea bargained, but many Federal convictions cannot.

Opinions please on Fords' Next Gen Rangers please ....
billd766 replied to South's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
My Ford Ranger is a 2001 model, 4 door, 4WD, turbo diesel 5 speed manual with close to 500,000 km on the clock. If I had the money I would buy anther Ranger without hesitation. I wouldn't bother with a Raptor but opt for the 2,2 turbo diesel 10 speed A/T 2WD. The Raptor is a bit too much for me and I rarely used the 4WD on the one I have now. I came in as a very practical pickup and came in very handy when we were building the house. At one point I had modified it by putting a 1,200 litre water tank in the bed with a small Honda water pump. That was a time when I needed the 4WD, but that was a few years ago. It has been very reliable and apart from the routine servicing stuff like tyres, brakes, batteries etc, I replaced the radiator once and both front suspension legs. I bought it new and it has been a reliable friend for nearly 22 years. It starts easily every day and I still get about 12 km/l and it uses very little oil even now. As it is an older model we get it serviced at the local guy in the bg village, When you open the bonnet you can see everything, and a computer is not necessary to talk to it. -
Good for you. I am ex RAF and pub crawls at the weekend were normal in the UK. Overseas there wasn't an awful lot to do for a single man plus there was the advantages of duty free. In Germany on camp there were on double shots and duty free beer. I used to put vodka in the screenwash bottle in winter as it was cheaper. When I came out and worked for one company, 2 or 3 pints with lunch and a bottle of wine with dinner was OK on expenses, provided that the receipt only showed as a meal. When I worked here in Thailand, going up country was a body holiday as I seriously overindulged at the weekend. In New Zealand there was a grog shop around the corner next to the pie and chippy shop. Order my food and nip in for a bottle of something to take away. Touch wood that is all behind me now and my body is recovering.

One drink that I do miss is a glass of good port.

I quit 3 years ago. I used to be a heavy drinker until just over 3 years ago, when I sat down and realised that I was drinking 3 or 4 x 750 ml bottles of hong Thong a week. I figured that as I had been drinking beer and spirits since I was 15. at 75 it was time to give my 75 year old body a chance to recover if it can. Now all I drink is 1 mug of Nescafe 3 in 1 coffee with extra milk, and about 3 or 4 litres of water mixed with Oral Resuscitation Salts and a bit of Blue Boy Sala for flavour, a day. I don't really miss it. I have a mixed box of alcohol under the table that has been there for years and I expect my Thai family will drink it off after my cremation. Now I have 1 shot of rum and coke on New Years Eve and that does me for a year.

Trump is a criminal, Biden is too old and DeSantis is a fascist
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You are absolutely correct that he has not been convicted of anything, Yet. However, unlike President Biden, he HAS been charged and is awaiting trial on those charges. Something that you omitted to mention. -

And how many of trump's thousands of daily lies can you compare that to an attack? quote "How can a man be fit to be a president who cannot even remember that.?" How can a man like Trump who is a serial liar and be facing serious criminal charges, be fit to be a president? -

Whilst I agree with you 100%, at this point Trump has yet to be convicted of any serious crimes against the USA -
IIRC from the 1980s, to clear the 7.62 MM Slr rifle, I had to take the magazine off, cock and fire the rifle 3 times down the range, on the 4 cock with the breech open ,I had to put my thumb in the breech, point the gun upwards and check if I saw light from the barrel on my thumbnail. If that was OK, lay the rifle down pointing towards the butts, step backwards 2 or 3 paces and report gun cleared. On the 25 yard range my shooting was so good that they used the target again. I was advised that in the event of a real war to give all my ammunition to everybody else and use the rifle as a club to beat the Russian soldiers to death.

Thank you. My passport is valid until 24th June 2024, and my marriage extension is due for renewal in October 2023. My plan is to get the extension done which will grant me to 24th June 2024 and when the 30 days waiting is completed in November 2023, I will apply for a replacement passport, and TBH I really don't care what colour it comes in. That should give me a 7 month time window to work with.

Rule #1 with ANY weapon that fires bullets. NEVER point a weapon at anybody unless you want to kill them. Rule #2 Unload the weapon, and make sure there is no round in the breech or up the spout, before you do anything else with it. Those 2 rules were hammered into me when I did my annual range firing practice in the RAF. I have seen the range master kick a guy because he tried to turn around with a loaded rifle in his hands, and it wasn't a gentle kick either.

Thai navy warns of demolishing illegal structures near Phuket Airport

And the people who HAVE lived there for generations alone. Also how about the navy dealing with navy things, and leaving the civilian population alone? -
People flee high-rise buildings in Bangkok as Myanmar quake tremors felt

Or if she moved the earth. -
Wake up and come to the real world of Thailand, where the rules and laws are written by the illegal coup governments that steal the entire country at the point of a gun and get away unpunished. Each time they tear up the constitution and rewrite a new one in their favour and the laws that they write are ONLY applied to those who oppose them. They even jail teenage children for standing up for what the children believe in under the infamous S112 law where the accuser only has to complain and not prove anything.
