Putin confirms first nuclear weapons moved to Belarus

I don't think that Putin cares any more. He is simply an obsessed loose cannon. -
MFP Leader Wins Two Digit Prize in Today’s Lottery Draw

Good for him, and good for the lottery seller too. -
But not everybody is buying EV's. Live out of the big cities in rural Thailand, and you will find that EV's are few and far between, and that charging stations off the main highway are rarer than hens teeth. In rural Thailand which has a far larger area and a larger population than the cities, most people when replacing their vehicles are buying diesel pick ups and SUV's. When it comes to replacing motorcycles and agricultural vehicles there is little option but non EV. Of course there are EV bikes and trikes but they are short range (50km or so). I don't even know if there are EV tractors, S, M or L, iron buffalos or 1, 2 or 3 ton small trucks even being manufactured. In addition, all of the PEA transformers, cable network and customers electricity meters will need to be upgraded which would mean higher electricity bills for everyone. The nearest gas station to me in rural Kamphaeng Phet is less than 1 km. The nearest charging station is more like 60 km away on the main highway

Thaksin Insists On Returning Next Month Despite Family’s Warning
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
At the very least he did not steal the entire country at the point of a gun. And if that isn't by illegal, criminal and unethical manner. All the coup generals should be behind bars for life with NO remission. -
UK married couple to retire in Thailand

Simply out of curiosity, I wonder what the UK embassy actually does do for the average UK citizen nowadays. -
People die at any age. My Dad died in 1959 in his 69th year. My Mum died in 1973 in her 69th year. My adopted brother died in his 82nd year and my oldest brother died at 9 months old. I am still around at 79.

iTV: Born of Bloody May, trouble under Thaksin, and now Pita’s nemesis?
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
But he does not and did not OWN the shares. He was/is simply the executor of them. It is the same as when people die in many cases their executor takes control of the bank accounts, house, land etc. It does not mean that they own it, as they are merely holding it whilst waiting for a decision from a court to release it to the rightful owners. -
I am also a Brit and I can assure you that it was the right decision at the time. I voted in favour, as did 17,410,741 other voters. Less people, 16,141,241, voted to remain, and so those in favour won the referendum. That is called democracy. It was then handed over to the politicians who proceeded to make a pigs ear out of it. Would another referendum give a different result? Nobody will know, unless there is another election and another referendum.

Is it a rule or a law? Can you quote it or post a link to it? As I keep reminding you, Thailand is Thailand and NOT any other country. What you conveniently omit every time, is that the military through their coups ignore that and do as THEY wish, which is what this illegal coup government did in 2014 and at the 2019 election simply had their proxy EC and CC dissolve the FFP and ban its leader from politics. Thus they ensured that they were the government. THAT is what they are attempting to do this time as well. What may work in the fantasy world of your mind, is NOT the same as the real world that Thailand HAS to live in. -
"Biden is trying to jail his leading political opponent"

Equally no doubt that her ruling could be overturned on appeal. -
Not true in any way at all. Boris Johnson was only 1 person with 1 vote in the referendum. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/eu_referendum/results Leave Vote share 51.9% VOTES 17,410,742 VOTES Remain Vote share 48.1% VOTES 16,141,241 VOTES 33,551,983 people actually voted with Leave Vote share 51.9% VOTES 17,410,742 VOTES Remain Vote share 48.1% VOTES 16,141,241 VOTES with 26,033 rejected ballots. Now it seems that the Guardian's Opinion columns say we must think again. Who and what gives the the right to overrule 17.410,742 other voters apart from the arrogance of those people believing that they speak for the entire population of the UK?

It might be irrelevant to to you, but you don't have a vote or a voice in the Thai election. The Thai people have both a voice and a vote and they have used both to state what they want, and NOT what you want. You may not have noticed but Europe is NOT Thailand and there are different rules in different countries. In Thailand, Thai rules apply and NOT European rules. In the USA, the USA rules apply and NOT European rules. In Singapore the Singapore rules apply and NOT European rules. It is the same in most of the world. -
Thaksin Insists On Returning Next Month Despite Family’s Warning
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well, he was legally elected as the PM, did a 4 year stint and stood for re-election which he won with an overall majority. He was PM for another 2 years, making 6 years in all before the 2006 illegal military coup. -

Neither I, my Thai wife and son nor any of her family and extended family live in the state of Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam. So, yes I mean the country being plundered by the police, the military and the civil service, and NOT by any one family. If you are alluding to Thaksin Shinawatra, please say so and remember that NONE of that family have been in power since the illegal military coup against the Yingluck government in 2014 aided by the democrats, the yellow shirts and the rabid royalists. IMHO they should ALL have been jailed for life with no remission.
