  1. Part of the reason his base will vote for him. He's very public with all his foibles, unlike his opponents that employ people to cover up their skeletons in closets. He comes across as more like a normal flawed human being than the smarmy liars that infest Washington.
  2. I thought you didn't believe anything from Faux ( Fox ) News. BTW, I don't know what was said, if it was said, but if Trump can survive Pussygate then he can survive this. Nothing could be worse than Pussygate. I doubt it'll change any Trump voter's mind, true or not. They don't vote for him because he's a saint, do they?
  3. LOL. You guys keep going on about the popular vote, but you know it's irrelevant in the US.
  4. Speaking as a voter myself, I voted for a party, not the man. I knew nothing about the man I voted for, but I'd cut them off with a rusty razor blade before I'd vote for the other shower. I suspect it's the same with voters that elected him.
  5. Thank you for admitting it. Many wouldn't. I gave you the 🏆
  6. I was. I was trying to correct your apparent idea that a commissioned officer is "better" than an NCO. In my experience they are not. I'll give you an example from real life. I spent a year at an Antarctic base and we had an ex colonel in charge for the summer. Trying to run a base full of civilians almost drove him to a nervous breakdown. Too used to having people click their heels and saying yes sir and doing what they were told to do. By the time he left, before winter closed the base for 8 months he was a mental wreck. I actually got to know him when I returned to civilization and he was a good guy, just didn't know how to deal with civilians.
  7. You apparently never served if you have that quaint idea. There is no career progression from sgt to an officer. To become an officer one has to pass the officer selection course, unless a battlefield commission. BTW, sergeants ( or equivalent ) run the military despite officers being under the illusion that they do. A good sgt would make a fine administrator, with the advantage that they don't think being an officer makes them special.
  8. At least Trump doesn't need a teleprompter to know what to say, and he can speak in complete sentences. He doesn't talk to dead people or shower with his daughter, or sniff the hair of little girls either.
  9. Still dodged the draft. The MSM always covers for him.
  10. Say it as much as you like, but it's irrelevant and no matter how much you say it always will be. Only your side cares about it.
  11. Are you saying not a single state had anyone other than Trump in their primaries? I'm not going to look it up, but that sounds unlikely, to be polite. Anyone can join a primary.
  12. IMO there never was going to be one. Seems every time it comes close a certain person sabotages it. All the indications now are for a wider conflict, not a reduction in tension. Till israel agrees to a minimum of a permanent ceasefire, resumption of aid at same rate as prior to October 7, amnesty for Hamas, IMO there will be none
  13. What passes for leadership may want a ceasefire, but I suspect the fighters just want to kill israelis. Nothing else motivates as much as hatred. 22 years in an israeli prison would make anyone hate israel.
  14. They are obviously the clever ones. While I happily never had sprogs, marriage was only a one way ticket to horror. However, if they don't have a job, how do they live?
  15. Not the first. After suffering the attitude of western woman, meeting a woman that seems to actually like one can be such a shock that many western men lose their minds and think the woman is "in love". Obviously the woman isn't going to spill the beans till he has transferred as much money as going to. After my first visit I thought I'd met the love of my life, but after I returned to the land of reality realised it was just my imagination.
  16. Not the people of the US then. She didn't win a single state when she entered the primaries. Remind me if the US a democracy. Seems the US might gain a POTUS that had no primary success, and was elected by delegates and won the vote because she wasn't Trump. Primaries are there to weed out candidates the people don't want, so it's no wonder the fix had to be in to get this awful woman elected.
  17. Perhaps you missed it but Britain was the first nation to abolish slavery, and that had to be approved by the Queen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_Abolition_Act_1833
  18. Every time she opens her mouth to complain about her time in the royals she makes it harder for Harry to mend relations with his family. Evil woman IMO.
  19. He's an old white guy. East meat for any good propagandist in these strange days.
  20. There is a thread about it now. IMO it's possibly a diversion, though one wonders what rabbit they have left to pullout of the hat. Perhaps they hope that the Russians will be looking at Kursk, while the 10 F16s carry out a raid on the Kremlin, or perhaps they have secreted an army of Ukrainian women volunteers to invade Russia and take Moscow with the remaining Leopards in the spearhead. Otherwise, one wonders if it really is a madman ordering non existent armies to attack.
