The campus is on edge, with safety concerns at the forefront of everyone's minds.

IMO the only threat to anyone comes from the thug cops in their military style riot gear and clubs assaulting students and pushing them around, as seen on Al Jazeera.

It's like they haven't learned from what happened during Vietnam war protests that beating up peaceful students is not a good idea. I hope they get sued and a big payout to the students like happened before. I knew a guy got beaten up by Chicago cops during the Dem convention and he got a large payout for it.

One wonders if they need such a large number of cops if they have so many available to beat up students instead of catching criminals.

As for the protest itself, I hope it's the start of an anti apartheid style wave that sweeps israelis out of the west bank and the formation of a Palestinian state. Now wouldn't that be ironic?

The impact on the case is the damage to Trump's credibility if the jury decides that Trump is a liar.

Gee wizz, that actually makes sense, but what if the jury think the women are lying through their teeth? Doesn't that make the outcome of the trial a not guilty verdict?

If the jury is actually not biased against Trump, the defense only has to prove reasonable doubt to get an acquittal.

There is no point in trying to influence this crowd with your talking points - the verdict will come, and then all of your posts won't matter. No one will care about your or my opinion about the case after the verdict. Because in Trump World trying to win the day with transitory talking points is job #1, but you could win every day and it will all be forgotten after the verdict.

That's absolutely OK as no one cares about your opinion either, IMO.

It would be such a beautiful thing to witness this goon being locked up, because he could not control himself. He believes himself to be above any and all laws. This is a "witch hunt", after all.

Hoping and dreaming of this fantasy.

Tell you what, I'll agree with you on that as long as he is sharing a cell with that other crook, what is his name, starts with a B? Likes send big bombs to kill women and children, name is on the tip of my tongue, can barely stand up and walk without falling over, just can't quite remember it, sorry. Anyway, as long as he and Trump are cellmates I'm all for locking Trump up.

Cared about so much he dodged the draft , called the military suckers and losers ,gave the Russians intelligence , and tried to overthrow Democracy -  Wow who needs enemies when you have a guy that loves his country so much?   Democrats didn't try to overturn the results of the 2020 election ,Democrats didn't vote not to certify that was R's even though they still took their seats.  Is rational thought a possibility here ?  did you vote for him in the last election?

Well done, I haven't seen a single post from you that was about the topic. I guess you prefer posting insults.

Okay. Can you tell us what you admire about Thump. Many of us would like to know, as we have absolutely no idea what his redeeming qualities could be.

You could ask Hillary and Bill Clinton. They were buds back in the day.

His greatest quality during his first term was not starting any wars for boys to die in.

Another good quality IMO, was making snowflakes cry when he got elected. I'm hoping for a repeat.

Trump is not a self-made man. He inherited his money from his father.

The mixing of the pot is mainly in Republican disenfranchisement of minority voters, and the vagaries of the Electoral College.

The people did not speak for him. Trump was beaten in the popular vote in 2016 and 2020.

Witch hunt is the myth put out by Trump supporters and Trump himself. Anything to avoid acknowledging he has been indicted 4 times by grand juries of ordinary citizens.

Try posting something with a grain of truth next time.

So you know who put a laugh emoji on that post I'll put it on here.

However, the consequences for Trump could extend beyond financial penalties, as Judge Merchan has issued a serious warning that further violations could result in incarceration.

Yeah, just do it then. It'll just make Trump more popular as it will be seen as an attempt to silence the GOP candidate for president.

I suspect the secret service might have something to say about that.

The IMO weaponised judicial system is failing to keep Trump from winning and if anything is making him more popular. Roll on November.:cheesy:

Obviously you are right. And obviously that is very sad.

But lets not forget that fox "news" would not exist if not millions of Americans would watch it all the time. As far as I know they are very successful. What should we think about the citizens of a country who actually want to see that cr#$ all the time. And they believe it.

When the alternative is CNN or MSM one watches something that doesn't make one want to throw things at the TV.
