I thought the question of this thread is how do you define intelligence.

What you write is that an intelligent person isn't necessary someone with common sense, success in life, etc.

Yes, correct. But it has nothing to do with the definition.

The question is boring. Everyone will have their own definition. Is intelligence determined by how much money we make or by how much or little common sense we have?

    Search "Reactive hypoglycemia".

That was my thought too. Stimulate an insulin response and the expected reaction is ..............................?

IMO the OP is testing too often, and going to find problems where none exist.

I only tested twice since I got my meter a month ago.

    No. That is knowledge.

Agree. People think having a degree indicates high intelligence, but IMO it is just knowing a lot of stuff. Intelligence is designing a computer chip, or a space station, or knowing how to grow food, or painting a great picture. Knowing how to use a computer to make money isn't intelligence IMO.

Clearly incorrect.  By your logic, the ones with those disgusting fake breasts would have had small breasts, so they would have a high IQ. Clearly incorrect. You'd have to qualify your argument so that only low IQ women would get fake breasts.

IMO only women with already large breasts want even bigger breasts, so IMO I am still correct. An intelligent woman wouldn't mutilate themselves.

BTW I do not equate IQ with intelligence.

What is the point of lots of people, most without specialty knowledge, to define intelligence?

I prefer to look how experts defined it. Because then, when we talk about intelligence, we all talk about the same thing and not about different things which we individually decided to call intelligence.

    Intelligence - Wikipedia

And obviously more intelligent people are not by definition better people. They are more intelligent, maybe in only some areas. And that's it.

My father was a very intelligent man, even headed a government department at one stage, but lacking in common sense.

Soooooo, was being intelligent better than having common sense?

I don't care if someone has 5 degrees and knows a load of stuff if they are dumb as a rock when it comes to real life. An ex friend of long standing was extremely intelligent and was an editor earning over $90 an hour, but smoked weed for 40 years and it made him bat doo crazy- lost his family, lost his house, lost land he owned, lost me. So much for being intelligent.

Something strange about this whole story.

Sure, the booked accommodation (which was eventually refunded) was unsatisfactory, but nothing prevented this guy from booking a few nights in a cheapish hotel, rent a motorbike, and then shop around for a better deal while on-site..

Why was it unsatisfactory though? Was there no room for rent, did he expect an actual hotel with room service, did he think he'd have the entire place to himself. The OP does not inform me as to any reason.

    Not for 59 days surely.

Who pays to stay in one hotel for the entire 59 day duration? I usually stayed about 3 days in one place before moving on.

It's still on Booking dot com and a simple search would have shown him where he was going before he got "ensnared".

I see nothing to make me believe there are no rental rooms in that place. I might have stayed in places like that myself, but I always checked them out before paying any money.

I’ve always said, we can protest… unless it’s actually working, then it’s illegal. So… as you allude to, it must be working. Otherwise they wouldn’t care.

They did the same to anti Vietnam war protests on campus, but who now would say the war was a good thing and admit that they supported it. The same will, IMO, happen over israel. In the future, people will wonder how such an IMO atrocious state could have been unconditionally supported by the US establishment.

the best they can come up with is “anti semite” and “racist bigot”. The same unsophisticated argument over and over.

that's because they can't convince any rational person that blowing thousands of women and children to bits is justified, so they have to deflect with their pathetic accusations. It's not working anymore though.

The most hilarious part to me is Zionists are the most well funded educated people there are and yet when they mount a comeback the best they can come up with is “anti semite” and “racist bigot”. The same unsophisticated argument over and over.

It's been so overused I doubt any thinking person takes any notice of the "anti semite" accusations any more. Even if it happened to be true, few are taking any notice now.

As long as the students don't give up, this has to be the beginning of the "wave" that will see israeli oppression of Palestinians go the way of apartheid, and I very much hope the forced removal of all israeli illegal settlers from the West Bank and the formation of a Palestinian state.

    Intelligence ?

It can be defined in the guy who can chat up 3 different fine young ladies at the supermarket by the groceries section at Tesco Lotus and convince each one to end up in a wild pool party 4-some the same evening..... and the most important...to have all the excuses ready the next day to have them leave after of course  they make him breakfast 🤣...such a fella would definately be our hero. 😅

He's not intelligent, but the women are just really really dumb. A rock might be smarter than them.

There's an inverse relationship between a man's IQ and the breast size he prefers.

I, of course, prefer small breasts. And detest any fake ones.

I've always understood that a female's intelligence was in inverse proportion to her breast size. Perhaps that's why so many men like women with huge bras.
