By 'religious persons', do you only mean Christians, or do you think Muslims would accept a bloke going around as a woman?
I am an Atheist, but far far from being Woke.
Last time I looked "religious" refers to people of any faith eg Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and of course Christians, plus many more versions of belief in a higher power.
Read it again. "than the woke who are IMO likely to be atheist" does not say that all atheists are woke.

While speaking with the doctor outside the patient’s room, Ms Melle referred to the patient using male pronouns and titles, explaining that she was describing a medical situation involving the removal of a catheter from a male body.
In that situation she is in the wrong for discussing the criminal within his hearing, also she could have referred to the body parts without the use of pronouns.
Far as the bullying goes, the NHS and nursing was rife with bullying when I was in the NHS. Invariably by management and senior nurses. It's one reason why sane people will not consider nursing as a career any more.
I actually left nursing early because of the management bullies.
Not just management- patients and relatives are also to blame, and in that case, don't expect any support from the NHS.
Welcome to nursing, where you will spend a great deal to become a registered nurse in a university, be exploited and get a pittance when you do get a job, and get bullied by management and relatives for being stupid enough to want to help sick people.
Do I ever regret leaving nursing, not for a second. Would I recommend nursing to a school leaver- not in a million years.
If the public won't support nurses to be paid what they are worth, they get what they deserve.

In the case of the transgender paedo, IT would be more appropriate.
Because religious persons are more likely to refuse to accept the gender insanity than the woke who are IMO likely to be atheists.

Trump's bottled it now as ever, so the discussion is moot. That didn't last long. China won.
China will just continue to offshore as before.
You forget that western leaders are even now oozing their way to grovel at Trump's feet. I'm sure they observed the different reception the last oozer got from Zelensky, and will act accordingly.

You need to go back to the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution, the complete shuttering of China from the rest of the world to just get a taste of the level of deprivation that a) Chinese can and will endure and b) the CCP is willing to inflict on its own populace.
The American media, the American population, Congress, The Senate, The Supreme Court, would be turfing out the Trump administration if they took the US to 5% of that for some nonsense theory. Heck, even his own cabinet would be getting him sectioned.
You need to go back to the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution, the complete shuttering of China from the rest of the world to just get a taste of the level of deprivation that a) Chinese can and will endure and b) the CCP is willing to inflict on its own populace.
That was then when they were already deprived. Much of the Chinese population is now living a better life in cities- they will be just as soft and weak as any western population ( apparently the one child per family grew up spoiled rotten ), and be just as unwilling to put up with deprivation. The difference is that Xi and co are more likely to do a Tianamen Square solution on them than a western government on their citizens. Also, in the US much of the populace is well armed and not going to take too much BS from the
enemygovernment. -

RCD/RCBO should be at the supply end.
If you are feeding several circuits (shed/workshop) as small consumer unit/distribution box in the shed would be wise.
Thanks Crossy.
I have a consumer unit to use at shed end ( bought in Thailand ), but it doesn't have an RCD in it, so that makes it easier. Get a stand alone RCD for the supply end.
I was thinking of using 12 mm cable, but is that over doing it?
So, from your posts, an RCD at supply end, buried 2 core cable of needed size, consumer unit with an earth rod at shed end.
Thanks.

In the end many of the cases will reach the SC, who will then have to judge on the merit of the cases.
No wonder the US is in doodoo to the tune of 23 trillion $ if every scumbag has to have their many days in court.
IMO just being in the US illegally should warrant a deportation PERIOD.

Money could be saved by running 2-core and providing a local ground rod at the shed (RCD protection needed).
I guess that answers part of my question, thanks. Does the RCD need to be at the supply end of the cable, or at the user end? The cable will be buried. For that matter, should the breaker box be at the supply end or the user end?

You need to specify the number of tools that will be in use at one time and the power consumption of them, as the answer will be very different between a 350w drill and a 3000w table saw and 1500w chip extraction unit running simultaneously
Thanks for replying. As it's just me, only one power tool at a time, so consider using the largest table saw on the market and go for that. I'm only guessing at the exact distance- could be 50 meters, so make your calculation based on that. I don't mind going over what is needed.

I want to put a power supply to a shed about 30 meters ( perhaps more ) from the nearest 3 pin mains plug. I know I have to use a larger than normal cable.
Do I have to use 3 core including earth or can I earth the shed using a rod and just 2 core cable for + and -? I need 3 pin sockets and loads of lights in the shed. Main use of the power will be power tools.
I have a breaker unit already for mains and light circuits, so just need the cable.
Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Autopsies on 15 Palestinian paramedics and emergency responders killed by Israeli forces in Gaza reveal they were shot in the upper body with "intent to kill," according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. The organization is calling for an international investigation into what it describes as a deliberate attack on humanitarian workers.
The killings occurred on March 23 in Rafah, southern Gaza, during a renewed Israeli offensive. Video footage from one of the victims shows clearly marked ambulances with flashing lights and personnel wearing high-visibility vests moments before they came under fire. The footage contradicts Israel’s initial claim that the vehicles were “suspicious” and lacked proper identification.
International Outcry:
Germany, one of Israel’s closest allies in the EU, has called for an urgent investigation, with its foreign ministry stating that accountability is essential for maintaining the credibility of Israel’s constitutional state. The United Nations has also condemned the incident, describing it as a potential war crime after the bodies of the medics were discovered in a mass grave near the site of the attack.Conflicting Accounts:
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initially denied targeting ambulances, claiming troops fired on vehicles believed to be carrying Hamas militants. However, following the release of video evidence, the IDF admitted its earlier account was “mistaken” but maintained that six of those killed had links to Hamas—a claim for which no evidence has been provided.Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Israel’s army chief, has ordered a deeper investigation into the incident after an initial review concluded that troops acted out of a “sense of threat.” The Red Crescent and other humanitarian organizations have refuted any connections between their personnel and armed groups, emphasizing that all those killed were unarmed civilians providing medical aid.
Demands for Justice:
Younis al-Khatib, president of the Red Crescent in the West Bank, stated that all 15 victims were deliberately targeted and called for an independent international commission to investigate. “Why did you hide the bodies?” he asked Israeli forces. “This is no longer about respecting international law—it is about enforcing accountability.”A Pattern of Violence:
The attack is part of a broader trend of violence against medical workers in Gaza. In the past 18 months, hundreds of humanitarian staff have been killed by Israeli forces, including six members of World Central Kitchen and several UN employees. Human rights groups accuse Israel of fostering a culture of impunity, with few soldiers ever facing justice for such incidents.Global Impact:
The killings have further strained international relations as calls for accountability grow louder. The incident underscores the ongoing challenges faced by humanitarian workers in conflict zones and raises questions about adherence to international law during military operations.Based on various news sources.

LOL. I remember taking out a loan on the house to buy my first vdo tape recorder. I can buy a Blu Ray player now for a couple hundred $. The only thing getting cheaper now is tech.

That's what I used to think, until I bought a couple of phones that looked good but had wonky operating systems and real crappy batteries.

The idea that a 50% tariff will drive up the cost by 200% is another example of the syndrome in the media. (And Apple doing what Apple does)
My 20 year old phone battery only last 5 minutes now, so mainly used when plugged in. Of course I can't get another.
If I want to communicate with anyone it's normally by e mail. When in the car, I can plug it into the car battery. I keep it mainly for emergencies.

That can cause issues when so many woman are attracted to you and are available .
You get the impression that all woman are available and that you can have anyone you want whenever you want .
Like people spending lots of time in Pattaya bars groping woman and then start groping 7/11 girls , because its the normal thing for them to do
If you want people to take you seriously, stop saying nonsense like "people spending lots of time in Pattaya bars groping woman and then start groping 7/11 girls , because its the normal thing for them to do".
That's so silly that one wonders if you have ever even been in a Pattaya bar, let alone have any proof that farangs are groping girls in 7/11s.
You should get a job with a British Red Top paper that spouts BS about Pattaya.

Anyone still banging on about how these four women are just financially motivated, trying to profit off him, blah blah blah, it’s complete idiocy. This is a criminal case being brought by the state. In criminal cases, there is no financial payout. It’s not a civil suit, it’s not personal. The only possible outcome is jail time. That’s it. That’s the “reward.”
So for all of you pearl-clutching clowns insisting this is about money, do yourselves a favor, crack open a book or two and learn how the criminal justice system actually works. And no, he can’t just pay them off and make this disappear. That’s not how this works either. The more you foolishly push that angle, the more you show how ignorant you are and how little you understand, and frankly, you’re just embarrassing yourselves.
Duh! The money is in books about it and being on tv talking about it. Also they get their 15 minutes of fame.

Not the one I was originally looking for in my bookmarks where the article mysteriously disappeared on the bookmarked paage, but look up Norwegian physics Nobel Prize laureate Professor Ivar Giaever. Also there were 1,100 climate scientists and related professionals who signed a formal 2022 “World Climate Declaration (WCD)” stating that there is no climate emergency.
If there wasn't money to be made from climate change, we'd never hear about it, except on page 9 of the newspaper.

Sport? You mean those pansies that wear all the protective gear to play with a ball, or a hockey puck? Boring. That leaves baseball, which might be interesting if I thought grown men playing with a ball was worth my time to watch.
American football is so boring that they have to have cheerleaders to keep the spectators from leaving.

The question that no one asks is if a war is between robots and one side wins, what happens then? Does the losing side have to allow the winning side to come in, rape all the women, steal all the goodies and make everyone slaves?
It's a relevant question.
