  1. Flaming much? Blowing and own and trumpets comes to mind.
  2. Speak for yourself. While I wasn't a millionaire when I came to LOS I was successful in my own field of work. Whatever I was, I wasn't a loser, and IMO anyone that comes on here slagging off thousands of farangs that he never met has a problem with self image.
  3. Oh no. I've been hoping for a bit of Global Warming to come my way, and now it might get colder . That's not good news.
  4. How much does a Retirement Home cost in Thailand? IMO anyone that buys a home to retire in in LOS is barking, but if they want to buy a place they may come to dislike and can't sell, up to them. Plenty of rentals at cheaper rates than they would pay back home.
  5. My parents abandoned me to boarding school at a young age, and the school taught me that I was inferior to every other person on the planet.
  6. Anyone that can't find something to do at age 55 is a pathetic person IMO. I have more to do than I will ever be able to do in my time remaining, and if I want to do no more than blather on here, that's up to me.
  7. So long as they can't break in the cabin, I'd just think of the money. Better than risking injury from ratbag patients while trying to help them.
  8. Do gooders are dangerous to society with their one eyed and closed mind attitudes. That's where attrocities like the Inquisition spring from, IMO. People don't like Pattaya, that's their business, but stay the <deleted> away from it. They ain't wanted, cause trouble and won't be missed.
  9. Indeed, as I've always said on those lines, "Pattaya was built on the backs of girls and boys". Perhaps they need to erect a warning sign at the approaches to Pattaya saying " WARNING, SEX HAPPENS PAST THIS POINT. WOWSERS DON'T ENTER TO AVOID OFFENSE".
  10. Let's be honest and wonder if ( assuming we had the money to live in other countries ) we'd have stayed if we couldn't bang the locals. If not for the women I'd never have bothered going back after my first visit.
  11. I had an easy life, with occasional bad bits, but I lived in LOS because I preferred it to back "home". Back home was expensive, over regulated, woke, boring and had no sex life.
  12. If I'd known, I'd have been a London tube driver. Waaaay more money than nursing, loads more holidays and free travel on London transport. All for sitting down and pushing a lever.
  13. I worked permanent 12 hour night shifts in Saudi, and loved it. Had loads of free time to relax and loved the sunrises. The dust in the air creates wonderful red sunrises probably don't get anywhere else.
  14. Indeed, LOL. I find that if I can come on this forum I don't need to hang out in bars listening to drunken drivel.
  15. You need to indicate a quote or it's confusing. Seems that you have the problem and not Pattaya. If you don't like it don't go there. You won't be missed.
  16. I didn't move to LOS to talk to farangs.
  17. Prepare to be disappointed.
  18. Likewise, but in my experience, nobody cares about anyone they don't know. I was trying to educate my Thai wife, but given I was merely an ATM, she wasn't interested in learning anything. Whatever knowledge and wisdom I learned in my life will go up in smoke along with my biological transport mechanism.
  19. There's always someone better, or more clever than us. We may not have met them yet, is all.
  20. You could have laid down some "rules" before you met her: No disrespecting you be polite stick to her and yourself conversation no getting angry or shouting. You reserve the right to walk away if she became stroppy.
  21. Entry to LOS is always at the discretion of the officer. Just put something on the computer and send them home if they were actually keen to visit again, which I doubt.
  22. Hard to believe a 16 year old can be that obese. Probably needed the money for cheeseburgers.
  23. Just for you Do you think technology didn't make better motors and batteries towards the end of the past century? Given the advances in electric motor technology and in batteries, it would have been simple enough to make great electric powered vehicles, but ICE cars were efficient and didn't require lengthy charging times.
