  1. They are not so much dumb as absolutely ridiculously stupid, <deleted> idiots!
  2. Trumps father was a notorious racist, white supremacist and hater of blacks. I don't think the apple has fallen far from the tree! Does he not get briefed, or listen to advisors or read briefing notes on the people he is to meet and deal with in his official capacity? We must assume not! He is more than a fool, he is a buffoon.
  3. So it would appear does ICE. But then, again not mincing words, they are brown, and therefore in the brave new MAGA world spearheaded by the spectacularly cold eyed Stephen Miller and his mushy mouthed thug sidekick Tom Honan (now there is a pair who would fit right in around the editorial table of "Der Sturmer") do not have any rights.
  4. Let us not mince words. The United States has, in a remarkably short time, done serious if not terminal damage to itself. It has dismantled any pretence of social welfare or health care provision, it's bizarre trade policies, driven by one man's obsession with tariff driven protectionism and his total ignorance of trade matters is ruining swathes of its economies, his racially obsessed immigration policies are doing equal damage to agriculture and many cities. The rule of law simply does not operate in some areas, not due to criminality but due to the neofascist actions of its executive branch. It has abandoned the concept of three equal branches of government it's congress is neutered and its courts and existing laws ignored. The remaining (executive) branch is run by the extremely wealthy. The people simply don't matter anymore. You are, as the vernacular might put It, Donald Ducked - and you have managed to do it by and to yourselves. "Liberal Europe" and "woke Canada" have had nothing to do with it. The USA is holed beneath the waterline, and I am not sure it can be saved. Not only driving full speed into the iceberg, but backing off and having another go!
  5. Mind your own business. Your constant attempts to probe into other people's lives are both weird and tedious.
  6. You tell us, go on, after all, you are the one making the allegation. If he were to say no you are implying that he would be lying ( it is very much your stock in trade, and you clearly anticipate making that claim) so get on with it. Incidentally, for one so enthusiastic about exposing lies, you do have a rather tenuous relationship with the truth!
  7. Tell us do! Or is it just another wild claim?
  8. Netanyahu is nominating his arms supplier! That said I have no particular political, philosophical or moral objection to the USA supplying arms to Israel.
  9. There are a at least a couple who seem to have moved here so that they can spend their time starting pointless threads which concentrate on asking (impertinent) personal questions to emphasise their perceived moral superiority. We definitely need a "bugger off" emoji, possibly even (and aficionados of the late Ronnie Barker who remember his role in "Porridge" will understand this) a "naff off Godber" emoji!
  10. Since the taxi mafia blatantly flout all the regulations which supposedly apply to their cars, one assumes that these regulations applying to ride hailing cars will also be ignored. The differenceis that the likes of Grab and Bolt rely on being more comfortable, reliable and providing a better service than the metered (!) Taxis. That is why people prefer them. The metered taxis have scammed, cheated and been unreliable for years, and now are facing competition. They don't like It!
  11. I've got two of those scarves - shemaghs - one in red, one in khaki. Both souvenirs of my time in Saudi Arabia / Iraq during first Gulf. Back when the ideals of the USA were shared by much of the free world, and perhaps worth fighting for. I still wear them occasionally on the cooler mornings up here in the North of Thailand.
  12. All ride hailing cars are required to have a meter attached to the dashboard with some double sided sticky tape. It shall be covered with a piece cut from an old towel, 'cos it is broken. Another piece of double sided tape shall hold a badly scratched perspex mount, containing a driver's ID which, if visible through the scratched perspex and damaged bubbled laminate bears no resemblance whatsoever to the chap behind the wheel. The suspension will sag and clunk, and the ball joints emit a startling clicking sound when going round corners. When the car arrives, the driver should either demand twice the fare quoted on the ride hailing app, or refuse the journey as he doesn't want to go that way anyway. These measures will ensure that the peerless standards offered by existing taxi services are maintained.
  13. As one deranged moron to another, thank you very much!
  14. No, she is doing well, and enjoying student life at Chiang Rai Rajabhat University!
  15. The photographs, video and audio are in the public domain. Ms Bondi's sudden about turn and denying the existence of a list, after she had previously stated that it was on her desk is, let me suggest, strange at least. Epstein's death in custody was never thoroughly investigated - it was rapidly, very rapidly, and very conveniently, ruled to be suicide. You are right in that there has been intense interest in Trumps apparent involvement with the Epstein affair, interest matched by a superlative effort to keep him out of any "frame". That effort is only partly successful, the evidence remains in the public domain and without a North Korean style approach to news management it will continue to provoke questions. Questions which will continue to be "blanked"; Ms Bond's remarkable declaration that there is "no list" is the latest manifestation of this.
  16. Well, if it is good enough for the President's son - oh, sorry, hang on a mo!
  17. As the night wears on, and consumption perhaps increases, so the level of "imagination", "excitement", "hyperbole" and at times good old "fantasy" does seem to keep pace doesn't It? Yesterday it was alarm and accusations of posts encouraging the killing of Trump supporters, last night a "Leftist war on America" improbably waged by a cabal of transgender terrorists...
  18. I really have no idea, nor do I think it is remotely relevant. Where did you conjure up the wild idea of a "Leftist war on America from?
  19. There are plenty of photographs, video footage and it's associated audio clips which all indicate that Mr Trump, if not an actual participant in Epstein's activities was certainly party to them. The anouncement that there is no "client list", after Ms Bondi had previously stated that it was "on her desk" is about as credible as the conclusion that Epstein committed suicide in his cell whilston remand. The whole business stinks to high heaven.
  20. Oh for crying out loud, have you been on a special course? Nobody could be that frothy mouthed and obsessive naturally!
  21. I think not, it was written either during or just after his State Visit, as an attempt to explain the rather negative reception he had from the British public. A quick Google search :"Nate White on Trump" shows up a date of April 2020.
  22. I suspect because the statistics on which this claim was based were prepared before the 10%/36%/50%/15%/10% tarrif rollercoater ride started.
  23. I seem to recall this being written during Trump's first term.
  24. I must confess that I do not fully understand many terms used in these discussions, particularly their "internet relevance" and use: gaslighting, ad hominem, strawmen and so on. I do understand and can recognise attempts to defend the indefensible. Chomper is an enthusiast, some might say a pastmaster, at that!
