  1. At first, I thought this guy had nothing about his ex-GF on his FB page, just GUNS... many photos and videos of him shooting and posing with all kinds of guns... But turns out, he did have at least one post about her back in March 2021: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02KtJ4efWRHnhhvVz1bAbSQsVyprv8Mr6tDocRtwF1d3gTUayQWozPwfqrnBMK1apGl&id=100009742925235 And her: https://www.facebook.com/ggigie.supitcha
  2. Actually, from everything I can read in the Thai language news, there's no indication she entirely "rejected" him. Even though they apparently had previously broken up, somehow, despite the apparent history of domestic abuse, there were social media photos of them together out not long before the murder.
  3. This appears to be our guy: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009742925235 "Studies at Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School Went to Scots College Wellington Went to Satit Kaset International Program Went to KMIDS Lives in Wellington, New Zealand From Bangkok, Thailand Single" New Zealand???
  4. "On April 19, 2023, Gigi Supitcha, a famous female net idol, was found dead. Was shot dead along with Nonthaburi Phumiphat Chaiwanichaya, the Royal Thai Army, President of the 2nd year military prep class, son of Gen. Somchai Chaiwanichaya, a former assistant to the Army Commander, in a room in a luxury condo in the Asoke area. Later, Big Krian's Facebook page reported that initially expected the incident. caused by jealousy The man shot the woman dead. Then shot himself." via Google Translate from Thai website Kapook..com https://hilight.kapook.com/view/232532
  5. Looks like the famous Dr. Yong from Chula is now predicting the current COVID wave is gonna be with us for a while.... "Leading virologist Dr Yong Poovorawan warned on Tuesday that a new wave of Covid-19 has emerged after the Songkran festival. Yong, who heads the Centre of Excellence at Chulalongkorn University, stressed the need to curb a resurgence of Covid, adding that it may come in the form of a new and more elusive variant. He said the new wave is expected to accelerate from mid-May before peaking in June and then declining in September, in line with seasonal patterns of respiratory diseases." https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/general/40026759 Curiously, he had the following prediction back in February: "In his Facebook post today (Monday), he also said that COVID-19 in Thailand will subside this month, but will re-emerge from June until September, after which it will become a seasonal disease, like influenza." https://www.thaipbsworld.com/top-thai-virologist-says-2023-is-game-over-for-covid-19/
  6. The journalist Sorayuth FB posts quoted above referring to him as the "perpetrator." Along with the pictoral evidence posted above that she was being physically abused by the guy, and that he also appears (based on the posted photos) to have been something of a gun nut. Water is wet... You don't have to wonder if it's wet.
  7. First Stephen, and now you.... ???? You think the net idol shot and killed the military brat with his own gun, and then killed herself?
  8. Another BKK opportunity for the Pfizer bivalent vaccine, according to a FB post from the TH National Vaccine Institute: "Currently, Naradur Institute is also open to provide Covid 19 vaccination service. You can inquire for more information at Naradur Nursing Institute. Tel. 02-590-3427." This appears to be referring to the Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute in Nonthaburi run by the government. The graphic below says they began offering the vaccinations in early March and are being offered on weekdays from 8:30 to 3:30 pm. Location is Building 9 on the first floor. http://bamras.ddc.moph.go.th/landing/ https://www.facebook.com/nvikm/posts/pfbid0mm4WcwyWNjaZLCmTDkprnpMKES8W1kpz4gycrCF194pqx9jqcq2fHNR2KjPjekz3l
  9. From Thai journalist Sorayuth's FB page an hour or so ago (via Google Translate): "'Little Gee's sister' said that her sister used to vent to her. first date been abused often Ever put a gun to your head until we broke up and get back together again But this relationship Never knew there was such behavior again. Due to the incident, Ms. Supitcha Preedacharoen or Gigi, 20 years old, net idol and influencer The famous was shot dead in a condo in the Asoke area, along with 19-year-old Major Phumiphat Chaiwanichaya, a second-year military preparatory student who was the son of Gen. Somchai Chaiwanichaya, a former assistant to the Army Commander-in-Chief. Both of which were shot in the head by a firearm. The officer found one automatic firearm." https://www.facebook.com/sorrayuth9115/posts/pfbid023A59pASdes85zUX52XrENNJpKzpGe2up2usoe5PxPvHdbgYjGg5ZJBogEZwcZEiCl
  10. We're living in a country where doggies, believe it or not, get to hold high level military ranks..... I kinda assumed that's why he had the doggie. Poor doggie. Glad the doggie was wearing a protective vest... Looks like he probably needed it.
  11. who you just expressed heartfelt condolences for... Note the use of the translated term "perpetrator" as regards the cadet guy. And before the murder:
  12. That's so there will be more for the fire starters to burn down next time...
  13. Folks have been burning the north for months now.... Where/when have we seen/heard of ANY folks setting the fires facing "legal repercussions"? The government is and has been totally toothless on this issue -- some would suggest, because of the close ties between the government leadership and large agri business (crop growing and burning) interests in the region.
  14. You're expressing condolences for the alleged domestic abuser who allegedly just shot and killed his GF.... before then taking his own life. And at the same time, make no mention of her whatsoever? Did you lose the plot?
  15. Maybe that above was how they persuaded the Chinese guy to get into the box... ???? Well, that or perhaps a gun or two.
  16. It's been a bad bit for domestic violence in Thailand.... Apart from this thread, just recently: And that's not all of the recent hits parade....
  17. For the non-military immersed here, where are you getting that info from regard his decorations? Something in one of the photos?
  18. Maybe, maybe not... as per the subsequent translated news post above: " For the perpetrator, Nat Phumiphat Chaiwanichaya, 18 years old, Army Corps, the second year military prep"
  19. And to think... the same guy could have been a future leader in the Thai military...with family heritage connections and all.... ???? Looks like he was preparing for the part...
  20. She looked a lot better in the other idol type photos... when she wasn't depicted as shown here, presumably after having been beaten up by someone... any guess who?
  21. Have to wonder... --Did she somehow take him out, as she was being killed, or --is this another one where the Thai male kills his wife or GF, and then shoots/kills himself to avoid the consequences.
  22. How can the young guy shown in the above photos possibly be a "major general" in the Thai Army? And the two have the same name?
  23. This isn't the first time this same exact kind of thing has occurred here... Recall reading news coverage of a similar episode back in August 2022 in Samut Prakan where an electrical fire destroyed about 30 parked golf carts at the Summit Wind Mill Golf Club.
  24. Hey, it's ONLY $787.5 million out of Rupurt's Fox corporate pocket.... One of the article's I read today on the subject said Fox Corp. had (prior to the Dominion settlement) about $4 billion in cash on hand. Hopefully the upcoming parallel Smartmatic defamation case will further lighten Fox and Rupurt's cash load. Fox News braces for more turbulence as second defamation lawsuit advances New York court greenlights $2.7bn suit against news channel by election company Smartmatic over 2020 presidential election lies "Last week [back in March] the New York state supreme court in Manhattan gave the green light for the case to proceed against Fox News, the Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, the former business anchor Lou Dobbs and Trump’s former lawyer Rudy Giuliani." https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/mar/13/smartmatic-defamation-lawsuit-against-fox-news I loved this added reference in the article: "Smartmatic, a global election technology company headquartered in London, lodged its defamation suit in February 2021. “The Earth is round,” was the complaint’s striking opening sentence. “Two plus two equals four. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the 2020 election … ”
