There are plenty of opportunities, outside the country, to experience U.S. society and culture...McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC, etc. Or a fast-track invasion for the full immersive experience.

Why do you think a Fortuner is based on a truck and a death trap....?
I think it was just a superfluous comment to impress the commoners.

First, they would have to get them back from Dubai.
Enjoy your wait.

No, the historic first should have happened on the 25th but has been delayed.
A judgement? Not hardly. A fair sentence carried out to the end? That would be a first.

You are right, there should be an accurate accounting, and the failure to keep accounts of government expenditure of such scale should be considered negligence and malfeasance in office.
It would have been a historic first.

Accepted figure? Sounds like a movie. Bank robbers get away with 5 million. Bank claims it was 50 million, to cover their embezzlement.

You should be a weather forecaster. They're usually wrong too.

I suspect they won't be arresting her, as she has quite possibly followed in Red Bull "Boss" footsteps and gone already. If so Prayut will be apoplectic. On a political charge like this, no country would extradite her.
Rich kids, rich monks, and rich politicians fleeing the country. Money rules again. Time for the junta to change their mindset?

You're disappointed with rude, anonymous comments? How do you feel about rude, anonymous graffiti?
There's lots of discussion about how people are too easily offended lately. Some people think that being offended makes them right. Check out the News/Trump forums.
Stephen Fry says it best...
“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so ****ing what."

Your 'story' is a joke/urban legend. It goes back to 1931, when the same boat/lighthouse idiotic event was communicated over a megaphone.

take the Nazi's for instance. or racists.
they believe some people are better. than others.
Chomsky says the language capacity is what makes us human. we all have it. it is NOT something you can have more of than someone else. and it MUST be a simple thing.... otherwise it would not have happened so quickly in our evolutionary history... but it did. VERY QUICKLY... and many people believe that THAT was a sign of GOD.
Chomsky says no.... it is a capacity we inherit.... all of us...
and THAT also puts the Nazi's out of business. and racists.
I like Chomsky's theory. he is an optimist unlike Steven Pinker who is the other Boston cognitive scientist in this area.
Amercians tend to have a racism issue... and deny (sic) Climate Change... and those same folks are heavily correlated with Christians or "Christian thought" at the minimum.
Chomsky is the opposite of a Pope.Noam Chomsky..... still alive and kicking.. even older than Jimmy Carter.
If there is a God... then God Bless Jimmy Carter and Noam Chomsky. my heroes.and Climate Change = mass migrations... and is a really big threat (this post thread).
Chomsky thinks you should use Twitter.

Not a whole lot different than Big Pharma back home, getting the FDA to raid and arrest purveyors of anything that gets between them and their revenue stream.
Or the FCC and net neutrality.

This whole sick scenario is getting all too common. Hmm, just as well the attacker left his passport in the van so that police could immediately identify him, just like in so many other terrorist attacks with passports turning up. Pity every time the attacker (except in Iran) is also never captured to interrogate.
Interrogate? We know the answers.
What's your name? allahu akbar!
Where do you live? allahu akbar!
Why did you do this? allahu akbar!
Can we make peace? death to the infidels!
