These EU "politicians" (with zero military experience) appear to be using this invasion to promote their own hopes of growing the EU, probably because they've little idea of how else to do that, otherwise. Words like these are careless and will likely draw the conflict on even longer! As stockpiles of arms and ammunition in the EU run low, then these words will be hard to keep in any case. The EU itself has not changed much but some of its members certainly have, independently. Some have shown good support for Ukraine, while some have not.

Combat news is rather limited recently but Ukrainian gains over four months of operations since June seem to be very limited, with very small gains made only in a few local areas. So, overall, it seems to be a stalemate for now. For Ukraine to retake significantly more territory, then the cost in casualties may turn out be higher than it's worth.

My point? OK. Well we don't live and breathe in the stratosphere. Humans have evolved in the troposphere, the closest layer of the atmosphere to the earth's surface, at the lowest altitudes , where all breathable air plus all livable temperatures for us exist. My point is that, without the atmosphere as it is, we would not have evolved as humans, at all.
