    No. You are wrong, as usual. I'm talking about the data recorders, which auto start and stop recording depending on engine power status. The auto function at engine start may be manually overridden to start recording early. Recorder Independent Power Supply (RIPS) was not installed as standard at the time that this aircraft was manufactured,

    I didn't see any "expectations" published or posted about this problem but never mind. Both recorders specifically require power from at least one active engine to operate normally, unless they have a RIPS (extra battery DC supply circuit) system, as in the newer 737 Max versions. This indicates that it is likely that both jets lost significant thrust before the landing attempt.

    What I thought but that doesn't tally with 7%. I looked at Subway offers but I can't find any of these "meal deals" that include any of these extras at all. So to conclude: 1. All food outlets are ridiculously expensive, especially in international departures areas. 2. The complainant is either as thick as <deleted>, or full of it, or both.
