  1. I don't think Biden needs any help blowing his election chances - he is doing just fine on his own. OK, so there is no evidence that Trump's "followers" are taking his orders.
  2. I remember them too, one reported on the 5th. Clear signs of trouble. Nothing was done. The Capitol Police Chief was asking for extra help before the day. Nothing was done. I also remember Cassidy Hutchinson's J6 testimony about Trump grabbing a steering wheel - recently shot down in flames by driver and staff: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/gop-report-trumps-jan-6-driver-contradicted-bombshell/story?id=108029352 And there are recent reports that Trump did, in fact, offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol (via Mark Meadows) but this was turned down (apparently by Pelosi and Bowser). https://cha.house.gov/2024/3/chairman-loudermilk-publishes-never-before-released-anthony-ornato-transcribed-interview It seems that the J6 Committee withheld or buried important evidence and was indeed a real kangaroo court.
  3. It doesn't change anything. As long as the border security people are overworked, they will have less resources to stop the flow of drugs.
  4. The bulk of the money in this proposed bill goes to the Ukraine. The Democrats know that this is a sticking point with the Republicans but, as is their style, they want to mix everything up together in the hope that they can get it all rammed though together. Split it up and might happen. Where is the evidence that Trump's "followers" are taking his orders?
  5. No. That's not what I said. But right now the legal "system" in the US seems not to be working very well, especially for Trump and his followers.
  6. If there is anyone wrongly imprisoned then they've had an unfair trial. Being a good citizen as I'm sure you are, wouldn't you like to see that fixed?
  7. Agree. If you read the story, Trump says those who were wrongly imprisoned would be pardoned. If he can get that right then good.
  8. He was. This idiot story only considers drug seizures. Because the borders are more open now, there is less fentanyl getting intercepted.
  9. I think the specific drug under discussion was Fentanyl.
  10. I've explained what I saw as implied and why that was.
  11. The root cause was Biden cancelling existing Executive Orders
  12. Biden opened it up. He can close it again.
  13. Your "facts" do. How come border security is the top election issue for so any Americans? https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/immigration-emerges-key-2024-wedge-issue-trump-vulnerability/story?id=106635907
  14. The facts re there and you need to recheck them..not rewrite them.
  15. If you read the thread back you might see how dumb that sounds.
  16. Thanks. Obama. Relevant to me because we were talking about it a couple of days ago but all you came up with then was the problem did not start under Biden. That is true but the incompleteness of what you said implied that it started under Trump, which we both know, is not so.
  17. So who's mandate would you say that it did start under?
  18. No arguing. Not even shamelessly. I have presented you with recorded historical truths, which I'm sure you don't like much but which you cannot argue with.
  19. You talk like Islamic slavery simply stopped once a few European countries arrived in Africa. Well it didn't and the caliphates were already slaving on a continental scale centuries before. You blame-game reply is pathetic.
  20. So interesting here that the 1500 year spread of the various Islamic caliphates is missing, with the sole exception of the Turkish (Ottoman) Empire. None of the other Muslim conquests in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe are shown at all. In Africa, millions of slaves were taken long before the Europeans arrived. Any EMPATHY there?
  21. As reliable as these things might get but what you don't get is that the article says that it is still getting worse. It doesn't try and mash words to say that "most of the growth occurred under Trump" or any other similar kind of salad! The Fentanyl problem is relatively new but started well before Trump's era - if fact a slight slowing is noticeable 2017-19.
