So let's resume, no bread, but eggs and rice...

It must give lot of stress waiting for that one person that wants to bribe you and then collect your 10.000 Baht reward!
It must also be stressful covering up a murder at a beach for only a 1 million reward.
Good to have these services for the RTP.

Welcome Amnesty!
Shine a bright light on the corrupt thugs!
Amnesty International are one big joke - why don't they get a real job rather than mess about when its none of their business. Go back to London as you are not wanted!!!
Of course your are a real tribute for for mankind. Amnesty international has achieved more then you ever will, even if you live to be 1000 years old you piece of scum!

Does it really matter?
There is no opposition anymore, from both sides...

It's all good that this stuff is all coming to light...
A nice long open trial with vigorous lawyers for the defense uncovering and blasting all of this would be great...
Especially if the new government sticks to the anti-corruption stance and does something to punish (for real, with jail time) for those guilty of corruption..
But also equally important not to completely loose the plot...
Just because of all of the claims and issues of corruption against the Thai Police... That does not necessarily mean these 3 are innocent of the crime
Keep on dreaming....

Instead of clearing the killings the longer it takes the more bizarre it gets.
I wonder if those boys will get any help from any organization like Amnesty international or something.

Considering personal involvement of the PM congratulating the Koh Tao police force with their excellent work I do not give a lot of changes for any other outcome then that the Burmese are FKD.

I can't understand why people would use an agency for so valuable and important a matter.....
Because it sucks waiting in an over crowded immigration room, surrounded by whining old guy's .

From WHO website...
Two promising candidate vaccinesGiven the public health need for safe and effective Ebola interventions, WHO regards the expedited evaluation of all Ebola vaccines with clinical grade material as a high priority.
Two candidate vaccines have clinical-grade vials available for phase 1 pre-licensure clinical trials.
One (cAd3-ZEBOV) has been developed by GlaxoSmithKline in collaboration with the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It uses a chimpanzee-derived adenovirus vector with an Ebola virus gene inserted.
The second (rVSV-ZEBOV) was developed by the Public Health Agency of Canada in Winnipeg. The license for commercialization of the Canadian vaccine is held by an American company, the NewLink Genetics company, located in Ames, Iowa. The vaccine uses an attenuated or weakened vesicular stomatitis virus, a pathogen found in livestock; one of its genes has been replaced by an Ebola virus gene.

In the rest of the world a DNA test takes 1-2 weeks, of course a country that just found the cure for Ebola can do it in 1 day..

Pol.Gen. Somyot told the British ambassador that Thai police are working at their fullest capacity to solve the case, and stressed that the investigation takes time.
Yes, exactly 2 more days, thought I did read that we could expect arrests by then.

Not in a 1000 years Thailand will accept help from any foreign county in this case...

Did we not read yesterday that tourist numbers may decline by 15-20%.
So the Chinese tourist arrivals are on target, but the rest of the world visits Thailand less... Good the hear the quality Chinese tourists come to the rescue.

Exactly, and also why people who think The General will be the big "savior" of corruption in Thailand are wrong. Nothing has really changed or will change, because the corruption-level is to deep and widespread here. It will take many generations overcome this.
It does not have to take many generations....look at what happened in Singapore..Where the great leader goes wrong here.. is that he starts cleaning from the bottom, eg beach vendors, taxi drivers etc..Where he should start from the top, eg the entire police force and his own so precious army leaders.Problem is, nobody with money in Thailand goes to jail... jail is for the poor.

They still have to find a taxi driver to give a testimony, just be patient Japan.

Certainly this must be a mistake, TAT will come soon with new numbers that will show exactly the opposite.

I was in central festival the other day and noticed that Salad Concept is no longer there.
It's a pity because they were one of the few local restaurants in the mall, good to see they are still doing well at Nimanheamin.
Shows in my opinion how hard it is to make money in the Chiang Mai malls and that it's basically only good for shops/restaurants
that are related to a chain.
And also that having a successful business in town is no guarantee for succes in a Mall.

Good to hear all is good in Riverside condominium, how ever I would not want to live there even if they paid me..

I don't trust the Thai police, If the ask me those questions, about where you go what you do etc... I never answer, just give a "Thai" answer like I don't know....and they also think that's ok.. never got in trouble doing that... I think it's none of their business where I was or where I go etc.
