Why was the MIL scolding him? I mean, it was her daughter who ran off with another man leaving the husband and 2 kids behind. You'd think she'd be scolding the daughter.

There's only the killers word that she was scolding him he may well have just done it out of spite if he was planning to kill the two of them and himself

Actually according to reports the vast majority of the passage between the entrance and where the boys are is completely filled to the ceiling with water. This was one of the main reasons why it took so long to get there. They had to be extra cautious because there was no place for them to go up for air if needed.

Some of the access cede points are also barely big enough for a very small man to get through.

But hey give you an A for Amagination.

the British guys are not very small men but hey give you a B for B)ll0cks

"Now the truth that had been kept secret during the two and a half years when the Democrat-led government was in power has finally come to light when new Foreign Minister Surapong Towijakchaikul revealed that ousted former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was never on the wanted list of International Police, or Interpol, from the start.

The revelation came after the Japanese government spokesman confirmed that Japan has granted an entry visa to the former Thai premier upon request from the Thai government."

    Source: Thai Visa Forum.

It would seem the Democrats led government never actually made the request correctly. (Didn't they find all that paper work to complicated?).

Whereas the PTP government actually requested visas for the criminal fugitive!

Do you have a source / reference to confirm you assertion that Interpol refused to accept a request on the ground of politically motivated? Or did you make it up?

I just searched on google, try it, it's free... but your source of thaivisa forum must be true 555 I've never known thai visa forum to be wrong

Yes, and a great mistake that was.

Many people need some physical encouragement to make them obey the rules, both here and in the west. Unfortunately they no longer get it whilst growing up, and that's why adults are so badly behaved now.

Yes lets get back to sending the little sh1ts up chimneys and bring back the workhouses because that worked as welll 555

We were there recently and was amazed at the number of tourists there now. A few years ago you would see a handful in a day. Now there are hundreds. The locals told me it is going to get much busier as people get fed up with crap holes like Pattaya, Phuket, Bangkok. Also there is a border crossing close by.  One of the last nice place left in Thailand

I think the border crossing is only for thai unless its changed in the past 6 months

Compensation is completely irrelevant to the determination of culpability under the statute.  Otherwise, child slave labor would be legal.  Assigning the child to a work duty, other than farming, is strictly prohibited by the labor code, regardless of whether the work is compensated.  The child labor laws were enacted in response to the employment of staff's children by Nike and Adidas.  Following the enactment of this law, Nike and Adidas moved their footwear factories to Vietnam and Indonesia.

so my young daughter can't help out in her mums shop by stacking shelves or giving change to a customer?

The minimum age for child labor in Thailand is 15, with the exception of working on a family's farm.

Moreover, the following worksites are off limits for minors:

An employer should not employ a child under the age of 18 to perform job in the following workplace:

    • Entertainment places, according to the law on entertainment places
    • Establishments where food, liquor, tea or other beverages are served, and where the services of prostitutes, sleeping facilities, or massage are offered, etc and other places as prescribed in Ministerial regulations.

That doesn't mean the assailants shouldn't be prosecuted, but the owner of  that bathroom concession should be prosecuted as well.

I missed it where did it say he was being paid, it could be a family business therefore the under 15 rule does not apply
