So 2 shots and it's murder? I don't think so, you keep going until the threat is removedWhere did you read '2 shots and it's murder' ? I wrote ' you can't continue to beat an intruder once he is no longer a threat to you, or attack and kill him if there are enough people to restrain him'

In Texas it's common to shoot to death a home intruder. The Chinaman got bashed to death, same result.
The result maybe the same but the actions are miles apart, pulling a trigger once and getting beaten to death... even in Texas you can't continue to beat an intruder once he is no longer a threat to you, or attack and kill him if there are enough people to restrain him.

Why not?
That is the excuse most people use nowadays.
Beat up an old farang couple in Hua Hin, kick them the head. Say I was drunk, apologise and all is forgotten.
Kill a cripple street vendor. Say I was drunk. Apologise. Get a slap on the wrist and off you go.
I think the 2 who attacked the old couple in Hua Hin got a 2 year prison sentence, and the murder of the street vendor is still going through the legal system, but don't let facts get in the way of your rants...

This is nothing more than a typical pyramid scheme and regulators all over the world (Thailand included) are pushing harder and harder for FinTech and P2P lending. When will the lesson ever be learned?

I think the comments by the Hua Hin mayor Nopporn Wuuthikui in this months Hua Hin Today are very interesting... requiring even further delays for more investiation and responsible authorities should proceed cautiously...
Too many powerful people involved in this charade of justice.

If they could only get a handle on all the corruption and cover ups here, but I guess a traffic jam due to a bridge collapse and a company going bust are more important...

I wonder at what point did they think "Hmm maybe it's not such a good idea to deal drugs in a country like Thailand" ?
I'm guessing not long after they were caught... obviously not before they started dealing.

It would be interesting to see what regional data they have on this, I'm guessing lots of access is coming from the southern provinces.
