  1. my wife was paying some land tax in cha am while I waited I watched a pick up full of beggers getting ready for work, it was amazing to watch how they could change into deformed figures one second and then unfold their limbs and stand tall the next. big money to be had in begging. the real shame is in not knowing who is real and who is on the game.

and some are just genuine old, alone, poor & sick. I hope I can tell the difference and so give small amounts.

  2. they sting

I do to !!! Very clever lady. They do sting a lot ,Is vinegar good to reduce the pain of the sting?

Yes, although jellyfish is not as common in the water near Thailand's beaches they do excist. Always bring vinegar when you swim in the sea.

around Cha-am & Hua Hin I have sometimes seen as many as 50 on the beach in a 1 km walk, and I don't mean small jellyfish either, depending on the time of year and sea conditions.

  3. Hmmm, doesn't do it for me using IE8 (actually have to click), which browser are you using?

Firefox, it becomes a rollover ad when the flash has stopped playing... and displays the text rollover

  4. Last year after being out of the UK for 2 years I fell ill and flew home for treatment, went to the hospital, gave my parents address ( as I have sold my house ) and my old doctors address

Was admitted fixed up over a 3 week stay in hospital, and was never asked for proof of anything.

  5. It would be better to accept the reality of who the majority of Thais want as their leaders. The losing elitist crowd should stop (after losing the elections) trying to set the path that Yingluck's administration should follow. You lost, they won! Good for them!

Actually, 56% of Thais don't want them.

yawn, yes but you see it's still better than any of the other parties, that's why they won...

  6. YAWN... really this is the best way you can railroad this thread...if you want a list go start your own thread.

Actually, it's not railroading the thread. It's exactly what the thread is about.

Investors are interested in the costs or benefits of election promises, and also the effects on the country if certain promises are implemented.

and there's me reading the article as "At this stage there are at least three sensitive issues facing the country."

YAWN... really this is the best way you can railroad this thread...if you want a list go start your own thread.
