  1. attachicon.gifMaori_1629467c.jpgattachicon.gifmike-tyson-tattoo-1.jpgAny fool that tattoos their face should be jailed for life.

I would suggest then that you never fly into New Zealand with that attitude and say that out loud to a Male or Female Maori. Or an even worse decision, to Mike Tyson. Ouch!

Thats funny moron as I live with a maori flat mate and surely know more about the mookoi (facial tattoo) as I'm from that part of the world. Tell me your not that naive that you

thought that I was talking about the indigenous tribal markings and not some fool that has a dope leaf in the middle of his forehead.

mIke Tyson and Sharky have been the threads examples so far. Point proven, nut cases get tats on their face.

I am not naive at all, you just need to expand your comments when posting so as not to have anyone misunderstand what you are actually trying to say. I am NOT a Moron either, however it does show me a persons ability or inability to communicate properly, when they resort to name calling. Pathetic.

  2. Here are the 4 cross border overland crossings: Tarchileik-Mae Sai, Myawady-Mae Sot, Kawthaung-Ranong and Htee Khee-Sunaron. I always did the Myawaddy-Mae Sot crossing frequently. There is always quite alot of vehicular traffic there. When you are in the Myawaddy Immigration office, ask them what day the traffic will flow West into the interior. Yep, that's because the roads are horrendous, so traffic is limited to 1 direction each day. Example, Mon-West, Tue-East, so on. Have (5) copies of your Passport and VISA with you. Once you are in the interior, there are Police checkpoints here and there and the Police will ask you for a copy of them, even while you are traveling on a bus. Myanmar is an underdeveloped country with few tourist facilities, but more are on the way. If you have a chance, get to Yangon and visit Shwedagon Pagoda. Words cannot describe it, You have to see it with Your own eyes. Get your VISA from the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok before you go. Plus, take crisp $100 USD Notes with you before entering. You can change them into Kyat readily. Today's rate of 1 USD =1045 Kyat, pronounced "Jet". Bring a pack or 2 of wet wipes,"Butt Wipes"with you. Remember one word, "Mingalaba". It is a Burmese Greeting. Good Luck! thumbsup.gif

  3. The article probably has a probable typo listing Sino Hills rather than Chino Hills, California as to the location of him acquiring a D/L. Los Angeles does have an official designated area named "Thai Town", so it's no wonder he chose to relocate there. Here are 7 facts regarding LA and Thai's:

    1. Los Angeles County is considered the 77th province of Thailand because of the high number of Thais living here (largest population of Thais outside of Thailand).

    2. The meaning of Los Angeles and Bangkok is the same: The City of Angels.
    3. Los Angeles Thai Town is currently the only established Thai Town in the United States and the world.
    4. Thai Town has appeared on Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” TV show.
    5. The extremely popular Thai iced tea or “Cha Yen” is sometimes served without milk and is called “Cha Dam Yen.”
    6. Be sure to have plenty of cash, as many Thai businesses do not accept credit cards.
    7. Chopsticks are usually used only to eat noodles in soups, and using both a fork and spoon (at the same time) is customary when eating Thai food there, same as in Thailand.

  4. No big deal really. The copper did not have a stun gun to calm the perp down, so a kick in the face was substituted. Then the perp woke up, behaved rather nicely, followed the copper's instructions and sat down quietly. This guy is just lucky he is not an enemy combatant, I mean civilian in St. Louis or Ferguson, Missouri or Anywhere's California USA. He would have more holes in him than a slice of Swiss Cheese. Example: Cause of Death in Autopsy Report - Lead Poisoning

  5. Does anyone feel that Russia is stepping back into Communism or at least into a police state or dictatorship? Seems like Russia was a much calmer country shortly after the wall came down, but now power hungry people seem to be in leadership roles and I'll bet elections will soon become a farce if they aren't already. Maybe the mafia is now in charge, but one thing is for certain, Russia is becoming a scary country again. A country with Nuclear Weapons.

Fascinating: this paragraph provides a fairly accurate description of the United States of America.

Police state? ask citizens of Ferguson or LA or or....

Dictatorship? Edward Snowden gave us the lowdown on how much a dicatorship relies on spying

Wall (non-existent in Russia)? How about the proposals to block all migrants from Mexico?

Power-hungry people? Look at cosy relationship between Wall St and government....

Elections as farce? Ask Al Gore what he thinks of the electoral process....

    Mafia? Say no more....

    Scary country? Look around you.

Nuclear Weapons????? 3 senior Air Force officers in charge of nuclear weapons recently sacked...

And so on and so on....

I agree with your take on US Elections. FYI, Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) once said, "If having the Right to Vote meant anything, They wouldn't allow us to do it!" That was said over 100 years ago. Some things never change.

  7. I am spending some time in the Missus home village for the Loi Krathong Holiday where we have a 2nd Home. We made it to the Temple grounds early in the evening before the impending invasion of Holiday celebrants. We did the customary flower float and lantern, then started to leave. The Temple grounds had the usual type of vendor stalls available. The Missus wanted me to do the dart vs. balloon challenge. 4 darts @ 20 baht. Took aim, used my sidearm technique and 1,2,3,4 popped balloons in a row on the same shelf. Chose a big Man-U pillow for the sofa and then we left the Temple grounds with another couple before 9 PM. We all went into town, chose an outdoor watering hole and consumed adult beverages until 1 AM. We have an enjoyable Loi Khathong every year, as we don't celebrate any Holiday in Bangkok. wai2.gif

  8. Perhaps, the time has come to revoke Tourist VISA privileges to Nigerians. 99% of the Planet is aware of the Nigerian 419 Scam. Nigeria is the "Poster Child" of Africa's Corruption as it is basically a Nation of scammers. I am in no way racist, I am a realist. There has not been a week gone by without reading or hearing about Thai's getting scammed by Nigerians. That should apply to other Criminal Element Nationals also, that visit the Kingdom regardless where they come from. Thailand has become a hub of illegal operations for Boiler Room operations (Call Centers) to criminal gangs that use electronic card skimmers to clean out ATM's to wireless miniature camera setups at ATM's watching pass codes keyed in. I believe that organized criminal activity has actually increased since the coup rather than decrease. Since the Kingdom remains under Martial Law, should not criminals such as these be tried in Military Courts, where penalties are harsher and the Foreign violator's banned for life after receiving Justice. Or, take a look at Singapore's Administrative Punishment for violators of the Law and their answer is "caning". That's right! 10 to 20 lashes across the bare buttocks while strapped to a large cross buck. No, it is not Medieval, Cruel and unusual, blah, blah, blah. It is Society's Justice for criminal activity. Then sit back watch the crime rate drop as the criminal element now aware of their potential punishment decides if the impending crime is worth it. thumbsup.gif

  9. I go back for Holiday in the USA for 6-10 weeks of time per Year. I always notify US Bank customer service department while I am in the USA of my departure date, length of stay, and probable countries of my visit to over a length of time out of the USA. Never had a problem with my ATM card and never had a need to expect the unexpected. I also do online banking from US Bank while in the Kingdom and get regular service updates emails. The bigger problem i have is that VISA increased it International handling fee from $4.83 USD per 10,000 Baht transaction to $9.63 USD. That's, an increase of nearly 100% since Last Month. Piracy at it's finest!

  10. Just waiting for the day when we see the Russian fleet arrive in Pattaya and the Russian air forces Su-30M2, Su-30SM, and Su-35S and the Tupolev TU -142 along with a few Ilyushin Il-78 heavy transports and an assortment of attack helicopters operating out of the U-Tapao Rayong air base.biggrin.png

Don't forget the Tu-95 "Bear" and the Tu-160 "Blackjack" Strategic Bombers stopping for some R&R after a Long-Range Pacific Ocean training mission.

  11. Works as a "pretty", what de farx is that?

She is a very soft "Porn" model. Usually has most of her clothes on but may expose her panties (crotch shot) or bra while in a suggestive pose. Similar to Lingerie models or "Victoria Secret" types. No big deal, really. BUT, to this jealous knucklehead it was! Fire him from the Police Farce and lock him up for a while till his jets cool down. Moron!.

  12. For a good burger use half Pork and half Beef with bread crumbs, egg and Tabasco sauce tongue.png

We use the cheapest that the local fresh market has

No need for quality beef as you are going to grill it

We're u getting your bread crumbs

Villa, Foodland etc I have even seen them in some branches of Big C. Pattaya & Phuket I think. Maybe Chonburi.

Ground "Chuck" Beef or 80/20 is the best for Burgers.

Try and find "Progresso" or "Contadina" Italian flavoured bread crumbs. Either one will enhance your Burger's taste to a higher level. If you can't find them, make them yourself:

    1 cup plain bread crumbs

    1/2 teaspoon of salt

    1/2 teaspoon of parsley flakes

    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

    1/4 teaspoon onion powder

    1/4 teaspoon sugar

    dash of oregano

Combine all of the above ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Add to 1 Kg of your favourite ground meat. Or add 1 cup of milk and 2 eggs mixed together and have a dipping liquid for your whole pieces of meat, poultry or fish, coat liberally with the above bread crumb recipe. Then fry or deep fry in oil till Golden Brown. mh-mh-Good! thumbsup.gif

  13. True. But if you look at the statistics, rape and murder is much more prevalent here (although gun crime is really quite bad in the USA, that's the exception rather than the rule for western countries). Fact.

Couldn't resist turning this story into an America bashing one could you?

    Haha. Defensive much?

Last time I quoted crime statistics, someone came back quoting the terrible gun statistics from the USA as proof that Thailand was no worse than the west.. So pointing out that USA is the exception is totally legitimate and prevents muddying the issue.

Even it hurts your poor little feelings.

Terrible gun statistics from the USA. Your statement is Hogwash, pure and simple. Violent crime according to the FBI, is actually on the downward trend over the past Decade. Plus, most feel that it is due to the fact that more and more States are allowing CCW's or Carry Concealed Weapons for people that have NO criminal history and passing a thorough back ground check and weapon knowledge and firearm usage. Even my Daughter (Single Female) has a CCW and carries a Sig-Sauer 9mm. A lot of the Headlines unfortunately blast out the carnage that does happen now and again but very seldom the prevention of criminal activity that was stopped by someone that was armed. Furthermore, The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees the "Right" of fireman ownership granted by the Founding Father's of the USA and more recently upheld by a US Supreme Court ruling. More importantly, is the Fact that the Founding Fathers also gave the Citizens of the USA the RESPONSIBILITY to OVERTHROW an OPPRESSIVE Government. Americans are the only people on Planet earth that has this clause in their Countries foundation. Now, I ask YOU, would this be the real reason some groups are calling for firearm ownership restrictions? I doubt if the Sheeple would be able to do anything if one day, they stormed Washington (D)istrict of ©riminals with pitch forks and shovels. Just look at it this way when you want to comment about guns in the USA. Two hungry Polar Bears and a Penguin voted on what to have for Lunch. A well armed Penguin disputed the results. The facts please about guns in America, not HOGWASH!

  14. bring in those quality tourists

more to steal/rob/rape/murder for the thai maffia

A Crime such as this would not happen in a area controlled by the Real Mafia (Think the late John Gotti). If it did, the Capos would be ordered to find the perp(s) bloody them up, shoot them in the back of the ear and put them in the trunk of a stolen car and set it on fire in a lot someplace. Quality Tourists bring in Money to spend at the Mob controlled restaurants, shoppes, beauty centers, resorts. I'm not sure why you think stealing, robbing, raping, murdering would be allowed in any area controlled anyplace under the influence of any Real Mafia (La Cosa Nostra, 14K Triads, etc.) IMHO.
