  1. Anybody else spotted the standout connection between these offenders from different foreign countries, Brits, French. Aussie, Belgian?
  2. Used to be a good paper, now it just sits on the fence.
  3. Pray, give us your opinion of the Oct 7 massacre and hostage taking, plus the murder of some of the said hostages (men, women and children) whilst being held captive. Then tell us why Israel shouldn't retaliate against Gaza, of which Hamas are the elected rulers of that sihtheol.
  4. I am, Israel should've gone in harder after the Oct 7th massacre. Someone declares war on you, you go in with everything you've got. Except of course if you're Israel.
  5. 137 pounds a week, that's a fortune. After a working lifetime of paying NI contributions, I've been on 101 pounds a week since 2009 (I don't get serps). Fortunately, I do have a modest works pension. Due to the many millions of pounds the government chooses to throw at the illegals every single day - hotels, houses, food, clothing, mobile phones, medical treatment, driving lessons, VIP tours around football stadiums etc I reckon there's less than a minuscule chance of the policy on expat frozen pensions ever changing.
  6. Don't encourage him, he's the resident goody goody. Used to be the teachers pet I should imagine, snitching on his mates at every opportunity.
  7. They haven't quit. They'll just find another cause to use to cause maximum disruption to what they see as the establishment. They're all anarchists who I view as no better than lice on the body of mankind.
  8. I've no sympathy for Duffield, because despite all she's suffered and being thrown out of the Labout party, she still insists she's going to respect trans people's pronouns. How can you argue for stopping men from using female bathrooms and participating in womens sport when you still refer to blokes as "she or her"? Gives them a way back in in my opinion.
  9. Seems to me that Trump is doing exactly what he promised in his manifesto. The vast majority of US citizens voted for him and his promises. It's refreshing to see a politician delivering on their pledges. Seems to me like political suicide for the Dems to be pursuing policies which the people are 80-20 against.
  10. NYT garbage. Complete and utter woke propaganda, just like England's Guardian.
  11. As a C of E certified atheist, not at all. Catholic, ultra-liberal Argy, I won't be losing any sleep.
  12. cracking down on free speech only applies to the right.
  13. Why then when the blokes are heavily outnumbered by women do you get two blokes in the final?
  14. "Until more clarity is provided". I'll help him with clarity, if HE has a penis he's a bloke, if SHE has a vagina she's a woman. There, all sorted. Easy peasy, why try to make it complicated?
  15. The lorry was speeding in "an emergency lane" or a "designated rest area". Sounds like the usual, driver sleeping or texting.
  16. Agreed, but it ties you and the staff at the driving licence centre up for a whole day. My last 5 year renewal I spent the morning assing about at one building, then the afternoon beggaring about at another. It's a bureaucratic nightmare really, even though us clever lads never found the process itself "difficult". I'd much prefer to do it from the comfort of my own home as long as they don't mess it up like the online 90 day. Yes I know that a lot of people have never found that process difficult, nor for several years had I, until I started getting refusals and I've had to go to Jomtien in person to do the last three or four.
  17. The correct way is to apply for a visa legally whilst in your home country. Even those claiming refugee status apply at the border, not wander across willy nilly making it almost impossible to send you back without the interference of Democrat-appointed activist judges. A secure border is the right course of action and was part of Trumps manifesto which the majority of the people in the US voted for. Refreshing for a politician to deliver on his pre-election promises.
  18. What for illegally invading the US? Because that's what it is, an invasion without the use of arms. Why should it require an act of congress to repel an invading army?? Law-abiding people, when they want to enter a country apply for a visa whilst in their home country, only criminals and those with nothing to offer crash the border. This instantly makes them a lawbreaker, if they weren't before. Act of congress my rear end.
  19. He may have a French passport, but he'll never be French in my opinion.
  20. "Hold me back, hold me back..." Have a certain amount of sympathy with him though, persistent loud noise can drive any of us over the edge at some point. Many times I've been close to doing what this guy did.
  21. Kicking a woman when you're a guest in her country? Minor issue?? I don't think so. I thought this case had been dropped.
  22. At a guess I'd say the driver was travelling fast in top gear and breaking hard on bends instead of using his gears to assist in slowing down. Basically though, the problem here in most of these trajedies, is a complete and utter lack of common sense.
  23. The guy got what he deserved. However, the bouncers here should be trained to restrain rather than retaliate. After that bouncer's punch, if the drunk guy had hit his head and died, the bouncer would've been in a load of trouble. Therefore, it's also for the bouncers benefit to be less aggressive. After all he's paid to keep the peace. Saying that, I enjoyed seeing the pillock get knocked on his ass.
  24. Spent one day/night there a few months back and loved the place. Wasn't long enough, needed another couple of days at least. Recommend a trip up the river at dusk, just as all the temples are beginning to light up. Stayed at a hotel on the river with a stunning view of one of these temples opposite. Much better than Chiang Mai in my opinion and only a three hour drive from Pattaya. I'll definitely pay another (longer) visit sometime. Reading up on its history beforehand, made it more interesting for me.
  25. Tell you what spider, if you buy all my meat products from now on I'll give up eating pork. Until then, I'll scoff as many bacon butties as I like. Don't cows, sheep, goats etc eat grass fertilised by animal (pigs included) or even human feces?
