HI, i use iPads/iPhone. I am inundated with spam/phishing what can I do ?
Block sender or report as phishing

If on Windows 10, then just clear web history, then block that email sender or report as phishing, then start up Windows Defender (it has its own built in Anti virus etc, use that.) and finally restart in Safe mode
Thats it!

Having owned several printers, I think you will find it hard to find anyone to repair this and for the repair to last!! As you can purchase a printer / scanner for just a few thousand baht, do you want to waste money on a bodge repair.
Having said that, have a look yourself, it is most likley the cog fitted to a rubber band that has a problem.

Dont sit at theback, suspensions on these mini buses are generally useless, get a window seat and take a pillow!

You you to be a mind reader to have seen this 6 months ago! Too little action, too late!
Reduce Thailand's base rate and re-introduce commercial currency restrictions would help!

I have alll my life walked quite quickly, however spare a thought to people who have health issues, for example I have back issues and muscle atrophy and literally cannot walk quickly at all, if I try then over I go! So please just remember its as annoying for me as its it might be for you. Thanks

I've always used Express Mail, Thai Post, trackeable immediately to time of end delivery, 3-4 days and only about 120 Baht.

Yes, there is sand except at high tide, then its limited. Of course you can sit in "certain" areas on the sand for free, it can be very hot and little shade, inclusive of hawkers, (mind out for horse poo etc) but if you want say 2 chairs and an umbrella you are looking at 300 bht+ in addition you must watch your kids in the water as currents can be strong. The water like most places in Thailand can be very dirty etc.
Alternatively you can use the "Hilton" pay say 200 baht, get several pools with lifeguards, a shallow kids pool, very clean chairs, towels, showers, toilets, no nuisance hawkers plus security....all overlooking the beach down a few steps etc...to me it seems the best of everything?

I have used the Hilton pool on many occasions, walk in like u own the place and enjoy.
Yes, you can do this, but to be honest what with chairs on the beach costing 150 a day and if four of you = 600 baht. I am more than happy to slip the security 200 baht which they are happy about, they go off get me towels etc and everyone is happy!

I have a pair of Phonak's. I have had Phonaks in the past an from what I am told all of the other brands are constant service problems. My pair I bought "used" on ebay I suspect they were a demo pair from an audiologist. I sent him my audiogram and he programmed them. I got the rechargeable model and I can tell you I would never go back to the ones constantly changing batteries. The charge lasts about 2 days. You plug them in and within 1 hour they are fully charged.
Yes, I have the same, however I would still use a dehumidifier / dryer box sometimes, £10 on Ebay.

In the past, taking into account the high rental price of beach chairs, I have asked the Hilton beach pool security if I can use there pool and chairs and had a great time, especially as the pool looks out onto the beach, sometimes paid the front desk, sometimes "security" (who are very happy to pay them) and occasionally they just say okay!

I agree OTICONS, and SIGNIA are good, in every area similar to PHONAKS, except the latest PHONAKS are rechargeable life guarantee and as no battery compartment to open, do not have an issue with humidity as they are sealed units...Regardless I still use an electric dehumidifier. The problem most do not realise is that as your hearing deteriorates, the importance of a professional setting up and regular adjustments which can only be effected by a computer set up. Even BPH cannot set up hearing aids, they can only effect hearing tests etc.

WHAT!
Yes, that is correct, rechargeable type with best range for extreme hearing loss, if you don't need this type, then you can purchase from as little as £250. please keep it in context, and I mean that at BPH you see a representative from hearing firms brought down from Bangkok weekly. They sell out of date Phonaks for triple the UK price. After seeing them the first thing I did was check them on the internet only to see "discontinued "
Of course it's up to you, but why buy for example DEMEDs when you can see they are poor, look them up on internet, many issues.... Good luck!

The name is DEMED, I am a regular visitor to there, I have purchased 2 hearing aids from there that are, constantly breaking down. Hearing aids in a tropical country suffer due to sweat getting into the microphone among other things, (behind the ear models), i have found places in the USA and UK that supply sweat covers for these hearing aids & they do work, so much so that i forgot that i had left one hearing aid in its box, in my shorts pocket, & put it into the washing machine, next morning it still worked..
You may be correct, however I never ever had any issues with Phonaks, I did though buy on Ebay an electric drying dehumidifier box for about £10. My hearing aids can be worn in the rain as well, no issues!

There is a hearing clinic right next to D Pharmacy on the southbound carriageway of Sukhumvit right where the motorway slip road joins Sukhumvit
But no testing equipment, she told me she sets them up by her knowledge?

Unfortunately what with poor exchange rates, a perceived lack of interest in foreigners living in Thailand, issues with immigration, medical insurance, bribes, poor police attitudes and to cap it off a government which project an image that they don't want us, unless you are Chinese! I guess many feel unwelcome, a pity!

You absolutely will not get any good hearing aids in Pattaya, BPH and PIH do not sell Hearing Aids, they bring in "agents" from Bangkok for visits and they sell old model equipment at 3 times UK prices. The only place I know of with good hearing Test Eqipment is :

i.e. if you just live here simply as a single, it's much different to other people who try to raise children and have to face
the facts, school system etc. and see what's going on.
There are people who can just say, oh, wonderland Thailand, only Thai culture, and move on.
Others are more critical and point out what's not really correct ... and discuss it. Or try to discuss it.
Then other Farangs come on top and argue against each other, all the time ????
It's a forum, people come here to vent or discuss and share their experiences, which are not always good.
Doesn't mean they don't still enjoy life here.
One thing, over the years, which became very apparent to me is that you 'think' you can talk to like minded people with similar western background/education, to find some common sense.
But that's not the case, in every thread, they are arguing over the silliest and most apparent things against each other ????
Actually not only on a forum, I've seen Farang neighbors doing the same against each other off-line.
When you decide to live in Thailand, there is not only the Thai side of it which you have to learn and get into.
There is also the Farang abroad in Thailand, which is also completely different to the Farangs you engaged before you moved here.
It's quite an experience all of that, to say the least ???? But all good for me as of yet, not too bad.
I used to live in Pattaya up to 18 months ago, I returned to the UK for health reasons and the fact I was mis-diagnosed and ripped off by hospitals in Thailand (another matter sorry!)
First of all, I think Thailand is great, but problems like mine can arise as you get older.
As to the UK, well you need enough income etc to own or rent a property, a car is useful etc.
Provided you own a home, then my monthly outgoings for everything except food and bars etc is about £450.
Life is good, lots of supermarkets at a third of cost in Thailand, Chang etc can be as low as 70 pence a bottle in supermarkets, Beer etc can be as low as £2 a pint or more in pubs etc depending where you drink.
Of course I am not saying its perfect here, it rains...it can be cold, it can also be great, not many ladies etc, but that's what holidays are for!!
(No Thai immigration or Thai cops with hands out though!)
Even in the UK there are moaners just like in Thailand....its in the mindset!
So enjoy yourself in Thailand, just remember you might need or want to leave one day!!

VISA have been great for me, any issues re purchases online or not, and when I've shown an effort to reclaim monies, then they step in and refund without further problems.
