If you don't want to be doing a border hop again. Get a tourist visa. They CAN be changed to a non B in Bkk the 30day entry stamp can't.
But you would have to change your flight. It's a two day process.
YES, a 30 visa exempt entry can be changed to a Non-B at Immigration, as long as you have at least 15 days remaining validity.

You need to leave every 90 days and cannot extend for 60 days to make it 150 days before you leave the country. With a multi entry visa can leave country every 150 days.
Will require an extension for reason 2.24, cost is 1,900 Bt at each entry. Make last entry at the last allowed time and will have almost 17 months for each issued visa.
Yes, you can. Mods would confute me if that wasn't possible.
I think you will find that you can extend a single entry visa for 60 days, I have never ever heard of anyone extending each entry on a multi-entry visa.

I make about 80,000 baht monthly, and I am doing that for at least the 4 years I am in Thailand permanently.
Since you are working in Thailand you should be able to get a one-year extension of stay for the reason of employment. No need to get married for this.
That is only if he has a company or works for a registered company. If he is employed by a sole proprietor, he will not get an extension of stay. At least they wouldn't extend my B-Visa, because I am employed by a Sole Proprietor and not a company.
If the OP is working (for whatever size company) legally, then he should have a work permit, and also be able to get an extension of stay based on employment ?

convert at chaeng wattana
-
The OP is asking about a Non-B not a retirement visa !
-
No, the Tourist Visa is dead when you exit Thailand and has nothing to do with the "B" Visa. Take the documents provided by the company, go to a Consulate outside Thailand and apply for the new visa. I don't where you guys come up with the term "convert", they are separate visas, separate actions involved and they have nothing to do with each other..
Wrong
-
I presume that you wish to convert to a Non-B because you have found employment ? If so, your employer can provide the paperwork and your tourist visa can be converted to a Non-B at Chaeng Wattana. (this can even be done with a visa exempt entry).
An Extension of Permission to Stay is not a Visa (which allows you to present to enter Thailand), that's why you need a re-entry permit to keep the extension 'alive' if you need to exit/re-enter Thailand within the valid extension period. You also need a re-entry permit to keep a single entry visa valid if you want to leave the country

You will probably be ok (at least for the time being), but technically, you are NOT a tourist and should not be using tourist visas. Tourists do not own houses and cars and bikes, tourists normally visit and stay in hotels, taking in the attractions :-)

Can I ask the OP, how on earth did you have a work permit on a tourist visa ?

If you have a visa then you are fine, but if you are on an extension of stay based on employment, then you are on overstay from the day your employment ended. That is not to say that all the relevant authorities are linked, and that you would have any problems leaving one final time.
-
A pertinent question might be; how were you staying in Thailand prior to your overstay ? If it was with back to back border hops or tourist visas, then it is possible that even with a tourist visa they may deny entry, if however you were to get a Non-O (based on a Thai child) , then you should face no problems coming back in.

The blood test is also to determine your blood group, which is now needed also.

I wonder what they think will be happening that is a threat to national security between midnight and 4a.m??
If you know the streets should be virtually empty, then it gives the security forces less people to check and also means that any unexpected movement can be considered as suspicious. This greatly helps with hindering the movement of wanted people and arms.

If you have proof of travel you are allowed out during the curfew.

For you guys on the prowl for companionship each evening, just think of this as speed dating with a ticking clock. Hey sweetie, you want to be stuck here till 5am or do you want to come home with me and I will show you my etchings.I have fond memories of some of the early coups. The nighttime rules changed but the games continued. This is number 8 for me but none of that matters because I settled down after 20 years of being single in Bangkok and now live upcountry.
If this is your 8th coup, that means your first was on Sept 21 1957 , yet you were only born in 1954, and did not come to Thailand until you had completed your studies, sorry, but your dates do not match up. But thank you for letting us know that you have lived here soooooooooo long. :-)

And fairly sure you can not convert an ED visa in country ?
-
The OP has not, not done the reports, he has just done them late, read what he wrote, " I have to go again next week to report late again for the third time.".
-
Do you ever do any writing fella? Your first post is well articulated and I know a few people who hire writers plus a few sites you can advertise on assuming you've got access to laptop and internet.
The pay isn't great but it keeps you occupied and helps save towards overstay. PM me if of interest.
Wow, you think that the OP's first post is well written, (I won't use articulated as that refers to speech). His grammar and some spelling is appalling, and he does not know the difference between advise and advice, so I think his chances of being a paid writer are pretty slim.

I am British and can find no mention anywhere of a 'fast track' program from the British Embassy, and given how very little our embassy here does, I would be most suprised if such a program did exist.
Told you the bullsxit brigade would come out, there is no fast track and do not take this advise, very bad going to IDC
Why did you quote me ? I essentially said that there was no such program.

I am not going to make excuses as I said before but my tourist visa ran out on Boxing Day 2103, with the holidays etc it was almost a week later before I realised this and for one reason and another ( the main one being my current financial situation) I bumbled on regardless with a view to getting it sorted asap. Once I had got some money together.
How can your current financial situation explain the fact you didn't do a visa run 6 months ago ? I note from your posts that you found enough money on New Years eve to go out drinking and watch football, so obviously not so poor back then.
As background I came here in 2010 with enough money to keep me ticking over for quite a while while doing some work on the Internet to top me up - again without going into details the last 12 months have been a financial nightmare and all I am doing at the minute is struggling by paying rent and eating frugally.
What visas have you had for the last 3 years ? If your financial situation has been a nightmare for 12 months, why are you only now acting on it ?
The whole situation was exacerbated recently when my ex landlord refused to refund my security deposit of 60 thousand baht
So until recently you were staying in a 30k a month apartment ! Hardly the signs of financial hardship - you could have moved to a 10k place and had the money for the overstay fine.
Apologies for not being more sympathetic, but it really would appear that you could have sorted this out easily a while ago.
Take care

Have to say, it seems strange that your work permit and extension of stay end on different dates ? I thought they were tied together ?
-
I only asked for clarification because I know that different cities have very different dates for Songkran, Pattaya for instance has 10 days ! But I read that Bangkok has only 3 starting from tomorrow, apologies if you thought I was dismissing your answer. :-)

You truly are the high end visitor that Thailand is aiming for, notwithstanding you total disregard for the law, your seemingly blahse (can not find the acute) attitude to a 4 year overstay.....................oh yeh, you are the cream of the crop................oops, sorry, meant to say you are the crud of the curd, and a very large part of the reason (probably) that the new stricter adherence to the rules has come about. Congratulations.............stroker !
