  1. scousemouse is back !!

the only reason i've been away is because were top of the league and I dont want to jinx it :o

No danger of that youre playing newcastle tomorrow with 3/4 of our defence out and no left back or righ back replacements. still cant see you winning the league though.

  2. "i know its not Patts but if youre in Bangkok and go to the far end of PatPong turn left, then about 400 metres down the road on the opposite side is a Pizzeria called Succi or Cussi i forget the name however this pizza is very very good."

Scoozis Pizzaria Italiana is the name. More info at scoozipizza.com

Yep thats the one theyre great pizzas no matter where youre comparing with, with reasonable prices considering the quality of the ingredients, less then all most this mediocrity im eating here in Patts.

Just been to Big Pizza, the base was good but got soggy in the middle after 2 minutes, huge chunks of pizza and cheap quality ham, itwas ok but not worth returning to imo, plus it was 95bht for a heineken which seemed a lot for the standard of the decor and location.

  3. If there are people starving and not due to abuse in LOS there is no one other then the government to blame for this.

As for Geldof he didnt visit Africa for 20 years after Live Aid 1, after he received his sainthood, i cant find exact figures but it was something like 90% of the money made from Live Aid 1 went to the hands of the rich and corrupt, hence why he didnt have the balls to ask us outright for more money second time round, he was sneaky and asked the governments who donate billions to Africa for more billions of debt relief.

As for Bono he mixes with the British government at conferences yet sings anti British songs, the nicest thing i could wish this fraud is a slow painful death.

  4. 2 wins gets you out but then 2 losses and youre right back in there, ive never seen the league table so close.

As for Hughes maybe we're never going to see if he is the potentially brilliant manager some were claiming as he is about to buy his way out of this position.

Bellamy is exactly the type of player id want in a relegation battle, but he's too injury prone and not good enough for a team allegedly expecting to be in the top 1 position.

  5. maybe this tells me that a few farangs in bk are on police radar for drugs.this is a good idea to route out the bad farangs in thailand and i just wish they could do this in the uk.that would stop the drugs and weapons for a while.Happy to here the police are doing a good job in sleezy bk.

You cant be overly bright to think they police are doing anything for the good of the country, theyre just harrassing farangs for an easy payday.

I was stopped in a taxi from BKK to Pattaya last week, the driver only paid 40 bht but lets say i was a business man arriving in LOS for the first time looking to invest, it wouldnt exactly have gone down well.

    40 baht? What for?

It was more a case of stopping the taxi as opposed to me, the taxi driver was doing nothing wrong just he needed to pay his small amount of tea money ............ he says this is a regular occurance but more so in BKK, where the charge is 100 up.

  7. Hughes needs the relegation system explained to him -

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/200...15875-20996097/

Mark Hughes has described as "hysterical" the reaction to Manchester City's current plight and claimed they are not in a relegation battle - despite being third from bottom in the Premier League.

City have taken just five points from a possible 27 and are currently languishing in 18th place on 18 points - the same total at this stage of the season when they were relegated from the top flight in 2001.

Despite such a poor run, under-fire Hughes insisted City are not fighting for survival and claimed he has no fear of losing his job because he has the backing of the club's billionaire Arab owner Sheikh Mansour.

Asked if City were now in a relegation fight, Hughes said: "No, we don't accept that at all. We're in a situation that can be turned around very quickly and we certainly expect to do that.

"With the table as tight as it is this season, back-toback wins can move you up into the top-half of the table very quickly.

"The owners understand the situation here, despite how hysterical people seem to be at the moment." And Hull boss Phil Brown knows today will be a real challenge.

"Given the situation, I think Mark Hughes will be calling for a dogs-of-war attitude," he said.

"It's going to be more of a battle than a proper game of football."

  8. Trattoria Toscana towards soi 6 on the beach road, great setting..great food...great wine list...fair prices. Don Joes' on walking street, good food at ok prices on the waterfront....great with clients or guests...Also the restorantino on tappraya rd going towards Jomtien is always good for honest homemade cooking....but there is no pizza..prices can't be beat! La Piola after Tiffanys' on Second road is also good if you are in the area...

Has the driest lasagna there the other day im of the opinion that such a basic dish should be easily made to perfection, it came with stale bread.

Also had an pepperoni pizza at Stone Oven and whilst not perfect was quite nice, but pricey at 295bht or 6GBP.

  9. Well most bar owners have interesting personalities and quirks. Makes these sort of bars fun and gives it a bit of character even if they are tw*ts!!! :o

Exactly these new types of bar manager you get in the UK and the fancy bars in BKK are sterile fcukers who need a personality injection, saying that i cant be doing with walking down soi 6, 7, 8 due to being a hansum fcuker and getting harrassed by flabby tattoo'd bar girls.

  10. Your'e right about glory hunters but i can handle that. I have been a fan since my first match at 1 year old. We haven't won anything for 32 miserable years (as the Stretford end keeps reminding us). So i am willing to sell my soul to get some silverware and make them tear down that banner at Old T.

Its like child abuse taking a baby to Maine Road.

My Gran went to that game 32 yrs ago, i was 1 at the time! <deleted> all in almost 40 years for us, im hoping for 1 England trophy and 1 Newcastle trophy in my lifetime, and a competent boardroom.

If City do spend literally 100s of millions and take all the best players then maybe Uefa will bring in some laws to make it a fairer competition, as i cant see Man U, Real, Barca etc... standing for City taking the p7ss out of them for too long..............the only thing that is worse then these Billionaire chairman is the champions league which has made such a gap between the haves and have nots and is making a club like City having to rely on some Arabs for them to compete with small teams like Chelsea.

  11. The lesson is don't walk around Pattaya after dark, ride a bht bus or m/c taxi..Its no different then any other major city, punks are every where....

But sometimes youve just got to walk in darkened areas, carry as little cash as possible and just hand it over is the best bet, would appear Thais are game for stabbing you when challenged.

  12. Seasons can change in a flash. Your'e only 4 points from the drop zone yourself and only 7 from bottom. Be careful of the gloating :o

Youre right but im using the theory that there are a few teams worse then us as we arent looking to bad of late, Man City arent one of them.

Dont get me wrong i have respect for Man City fans, i even went to Man City v Sheff Wed many moons ago and it was nothing short of a fantastic day out...but if what we're led to believe is about to happen itll make you a circus show watched by event seekers and glory hunters....plus ticket prices will go through the roof.

  13. 2.30am in that gay area, thought the bars shut at 1.00am???

never been before but it sounds realy dodgy and def a place to avoid so late, and maybe partly drunk too.

Or maybe not, these scumbag Thai males in Pattaya dont need much of an excuse when everythings on their side and it seems this guy was on his own...the bravery of the cowards, lets be honest most male Thais in Pattaya fcuken hate us farangs.

  14. Its not your wealth its that of the investors, Mancity are an average size club who could never generate money to buy Robinho's of this world ...............<deleted> to you id sooner come 4th bottom every year then be the New Chelsea.

and you're a newcastle fan right?

Newcastle couldnt generate enough money to buy Robinho for 30 million quid at this moment in time, only ManU and possibly Arsenal or Liverpool could.

Dont need the little money grabbing fcuker anyway seen how high we are in the league.

  15. Yes he was offside so luckily he didn't interfere in play otherwise Modric who was just level with the last Newcastle defender would have had his goal disallowed.

But as the ball was played directly at him, this means he was interfering with play even though he didnt touch it, ive seen it given in this situation before when its in the penalty box.

I can understand if he was on one of the wings but he was directly involved in the play, id say the same if we scored in such a way..............a sh7t rule that takes away the art of defending.

  16. I WAS educated at St Bedes Grammar School, just opposite Alexandra Park, in Whalley Range, next to Moss Side :o

Dont know it at all Grammar schoolboy, after MaineRoad games i couldnt wait to get out of them Manchester slums.

As for the rest of your drivel, you are obviously jealous of our new found wealth :D

Its not your wealth its that of the investors, Mancity are an average size club who could never generate money to buy Robinho's of this world ...............<deleted> to you id sooner come 4th bottom every year then be the New Chelsea.

  17. Dont know if any of you saw the Spurs goal, but the Spurs forward coming back IMO was 3-4 yards offside when the ball was played almost directly to where he was standing.

Arent i right in thinking that he should have been judged to be offside as he was clearly involved in the area where the action was.

Justice was served in the end.
