Blackburn have sacked manager Paul Ince after only three wins in 17 Premier League games left the club languishing second from bottom in the table.

Ince, 41, joined Rovers from MK Dons in June but Blackburn's last league win was at Newcastle on 27 September.

Chairman John Williams said: "Three wins in 17 games has seen a squad which finished seventh last season fall to 19th place.

"We are currently in danger of becoming detached from the pack."

The decision to sack Ince was taken after a Blackburn board meeting and Williams made it clear that the need to keep the club in the top flight was behind the move. Former boss Graeme Souness is an early front-runner to take over, possibly assisted by veteran Blackburn midfield man Tugay.

The former Bolton and Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce, who was considered in the summer before Ince got the job, and ex-Charlton and West Ham boss Alan Curbishley have also been linked.

Williams was publicly critical of Blackburn's display in what proved to be Ince's final game, the 3-0 defeat at Wigan on Saturday.

He added: "The survival of the club in the Premier League is paramount and our focus is on finding a replacement who will be able to maintain our top-division status.

"Paul will bounce back, he is a fighter and we wish him well." A statement released on the Blackburn website said: "The board, having selected Paul Ince back in June, were desperate for him to succeed and wanted to give him as much time as possible in the unforgiving environment of the Premier League, where time is such a precious commodity."

The Blackburn squad returned to training on Tuesday after their Christmas party in Dublin and they were put through their paces by assistant manager Ray Matthias while Ince met with the board.

Ince was appointed on 22 June on a three-year contract and, despite a promising start to the campaign, saw performances and results begin to deteriorate.

Rovers have lost their last six league games and there have been reports of dressing-room unrest.

Following the defeat at Wigan, Williams told the Lancashire Telegraph: "After all the signs coming out of Brockhall (Blackburn's training ground) this week, I was led to believe we would get a top performance.

"Without taking anything away from Wigan I have to say I was very disappointed with what I saw." "The worry is the league table is beginning to stretch out and now we need two wins just to get back among the pack at the bottom."

If Souness gets this job, i'll be delighted as thatll guarantee one of the relegation places.

I went to Tony's gym but they wanted something like 3700bht a month for the main gym (3rd rd.), the smaller gym (soi 16) which i went to once is about 1000bht a month, but some of the leg machines didnt seem much cop IMO, a good gym for the price though.

As for the scenery at WoW, if any of it is looking to abuse any male gym members i reckon im well in, on the basis all the men in there apart from me are gay, maybe this is why there are so many ladyboys in Patts.

Just over a year ago i used to rent a 1 bed apartment in Chiswick, W.London for 1000GBP a month, this area whilst not top of the tree is extremely affluent and sought after, to buy the same studio would have cost 200,000GBP approx. but you could guarantee to rent it.

Ive just been to Sukhumvit Soi 14 to look at a brand new 1 bed apartment to rent, they only do 6 month rentals at a cost of 45000BHT a month, which is 950GBP a month.

Now whether the UK housing market is crashing or not, if it is purely a financial decision i would choose the London place everytime as i just cant accept the true market value of a place in Soi 14 Sukhumvit is the same as one of the better areas of London.

The global property market is so out of sync with its true value due to banks lending money that never existed, if anyone thinks Bangkok or any tourist resort in LOS is value for money then they cant be that bright.

The 1-page pamphlet is of the poorest quality ever produced in real estate land....

As for lack of glossy brochure thats a refreshing change, the best development i ever sold the developer had no website, no secretary, a gmail account, and no glossy brochure but the clients were flipping with 60-80% profit within a year.

Besides the glory days of a property being for somewhere to live and not being an investment are coming back, just dont be silly enough to pay a developer 200% profit for building you a breeze block apartment in the sky.
