  1. Do you make regular visits back to OZ? If not, you're probably like most expats on here, a non-resident.
  2. I'm hoping for the Lions as well Rip but will be hard for them at the Gee I think.
  3. Have to disagree FJ. I thought the umpiring was poor, especially after halftime. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-2023-collingwood-vs-gws-umpiring-free-kick-count-luke-hodge-comments-calls-them-pathetic/news-story/4bbe381f2a3c0a7f95ec278c66764b14
  4. Most of his topics have no point. He's stuck in Australia and is as bored as <deleted>.
  5. Belfer A bit of a slow burner but I'm enjoying it. Hard- coded subs TPB Couldn't find a trailer with subs. A Polish teacher moves to a provincial town and gets involved in investigating the brutal murder of a high school girl. He learns more and more about the mysteries of this murder, revealing corruption and fraud among local elites.
  6. Another wasted year for the Demons. Out in straight sets twice now. 16.28 in two games ain't going to win you too many finals. Schache as sub was a strange one. Back up for Gawn but why not sub out McDonald and give him a run? They need to do everything in the off-season to get a key forward.
  7. PMTA AKA Red Lines TPB Halfway through this one and it's excellent. Red Lines Enter the complex world of the District Attorney’s office with up-and-coming attorney Marcelle Ben-David who believes in justice above all else, even the law. After convicting the head of a major crime family, she is given a promotion under the watchful eye of the highly-esteemed D.A. But when she begins working on her first assignment – a high profile case of mortgage fraud - Marcelle’s disregard for the rules of the D.A.’s rigid hierarchy opens a Pandora’s Box that threatens to shake the country’s entire legal system. As Marcelle digs deeper into the investigation, she discovers that this case is only the tip of the iceberg in a massive conspiracy. Going against her boss’s wishes, she will do whatever it takes to bring justice to those involved - no matter the cost. But when Marcelle finds out that those behind it are the ones closest to her, can she stop it all before she crosses too many red lines?
  8. The imdb rating of 7.1 is pretty accurate IMO. It's just Ok.
  9. I've got no idea what this means and what you're getting at TBH.
  10. Sounds like it's a done deal Rip. God knows why he went to Melbourne in the first place.
  11. I've got 2 mates here who are on it. Both get $998.00 P/F which equates currently to about 46 000 Baht.
  12. If you're over the tax free threshold, I'm pretty sure it all gets taxed or have I misinterpreted something here? Edit* Assuming the interest is his only source of income, that's correct.
  13. Mate Go to Phaholyothin Rd. Walk towards the Clock Tower past the Wiang Inn Hotel on the opposite side. There are two places near each other. I prefer the first one. The guy there is very good. Has a studio upstairs for photo's. Will print and also put on a usb stick for you.
  14. Can you remember a link? TBH, I find this very hard to believe. It would be a huge workload for banks. Not to mention where would they send this information?
  15. Newish Aussie show. In 1995, seventeen-year-old Isabel Baker was murdered. The crime shocked the small town of Ashford and devastated the Australian South Sea Islander community of Elizabeth.
  16. Glad it worked out for you, but that won't suit everyone. I have a friend living in Greece. She told me she will be eligible to claim the OAP next year in Greece because Australia have a reciprocal agreement with Greece. I can't see why it should matter where you live. As far as I'm concerned, if you're eligible, you should be able to get it anywhere, full stop.
  17. If you're living in Thailand, I'd call it a jail term as well. You have to relocate and on most occasions leave your family behind. It's ridiculous.
