  1. Season 3 of Interrogation Raw has just started.
  2. First 5 episodes have been released.
  3. You obviously don't realise that TV and movie critics get sent episodes before their release date. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2024/nov/02/day-of-the-jackal-eddie-redmayne-review-lashana-lynch https://www.rogerebert.com/streaming/day-of-the-jackal-tv-review https://collider.com/day-of-the-jackal-2024-review/
  4. This one has really good reviews. Out later this week.
  5. Seeing as its policy, I just think you got a bad decision. Despite what others say, it does happen. I take it your kids are Australian Citizens. If so, make sure you mention that in the new application. That you intend to travel as a family. 90% of that visa subclass are processed within 28 days. You'd be mad not to apply again. Worst case scenario is you lose $200.00. You could use an agent but it's a basic application so you really shouldn't need to.
  6. Seeing as the decision maker has used policy, not legislation, that is a terrible decision IMO. It's only been 2 years since her last visa. I don't think the decision is appealable, so your only option is to apply again for another type. You will be her sponsor so your wife not being in fulltime employment should not be a deal breaker. Plenty of people are granted visas without full time employment. Just add as much as you can to the application. You sponsoring the holiday, the length of your relationship, visit aging mother, reasons to retuen etc. I feel your pain. I'd be pissed off as well if that was me.
  7. I haven't seen "Settled" Australian as being a reason for refusal. Is that the only reason they provided? If not, maybe you can post the refusal letter minus the personal details. You said you have applied for the Sponsored family stream before. How long ago was her last visit? Paying for airline tickets before a visa grant isn't recommended. Can she apply for a tourist stream visa instead?
  8. You're only guessing about parts and technicians. When we had really bad flooding a few months ago, it was down for 4 days. I generally find them to be quite good. It is what is it is. You either have to put up with it or find another option if there's one available.
  9. I'm with 3BB. No one on here can tell you how long they will be down for. Depend's where you are but I find them pretty good. IMO, going into the office will achieve nothing. They're aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. It sucks but you just have to wait it out I'm afraid.
  10. Kingdom Uncovered: Inside Saudi Arabia As Saudi Arabia bids to host the FIFA World Cup, a female journalist goes undercover to investigate what life is really like in this increasingly autocratic state.
  11. Season 2 of Lioness has just started.
  12. After tragically losing his wife to suicide, child psychiatrist Eli Adler encounters a troubled young boy who seems to have a haunting connection to Eli's past.
  13. I've already told you. I'm not going to war over a 100 Baht. I really don't need the grief. If you and others want to die in a ditch over a 100 baht, good for you. I don't. I'm not answering your hypotheticals either.
  14. Like I said, each to their own. I can do without the grief. Especially for a 100 Baht.
  15. Yep, you have to choose your battles sometimes. I wouldn't be pissing off Immigration over a 100 Baht. Each to their own though.
  16. New Aussie series has just dropped. When the massive Lawson cattle station lacks an heir, Australia's rival factions see a chance to seize control. The land grabs threaten to destroy the declining dynasty.
  17. Surely at the end of the day, the OP is entitled to feel pissed off that a new Samsung tv only lasted 14 months before <deleted>ting itself. Whether it was a basic model or not, is not really relevant IMO.
  18. I use mine through my android box and mainly watch stuff I've downloaded. Sometimes I've watched sport using an IPTV and have never seen an ad.
  19. Storyville: Dogs of War. Thought this was excellent. The untold true story of how Dave Tomkin, originally a safe-cracker from London, rose from small-time criminal to international mercenary and arms dealer, enabling death and destruction around the world. Originally a safe-cracker from London, Dave Tomkins craved adventure. Dogs of War is the untold true story of how he rose from small-time criminal to international mercenary and arms dealer, enabling death and destruction around the world. Now, at the end of his notorious career and life, he reflects on his past, the people he worked with and the lives lost along the way.
  20. TBF, the OP did say it was a brand new TV. One would assume it hasn't been knocked over etc. I think you nailed it with your temperature and humidity comment. When I buy a TV now, I hope it will last 4 years and anymore and it's a bonus. That's why I think it's pointless buying something high end for 100 000 Baht plus. Been there done that. Now I just get a decent brand at a decent price and hope it lasts.
  21. I don't watch any free to air stuff on my Samsung so don't get the ads. I watch everything through an android box so don't use the Apps either. My issue is their lack of durability.
  22. I thought the same about Sony. But, I've had 2 here in Thailand and both lasted only 3 or so years. I still maintain the one you bought 15 years ago and older ones were built to a standard. Not anymore. IMO, there's not much difference between the big brands like LG, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic etc. I hope you have better luck with yours.
  23. Some of the TCL models have a 5 year warranty, which is excellent.
