Each to their own I guess. I enjoyed the movie Das Boot, didn't really get into the mini-series. Thought Vigil was dreadful. Quit after 1 episode.

The "180 day" rule is a guide only. A whole range of things are taken into account. You can be pretty sure that IF you were audited, you would be classed as a non-resident. Anyway, residency versus non-residency has been done to death. Best to try and fly under the radar.

The General (1998) is a cracking film that was shot in black and white. It seems a bit strange at first but 10 minutes in, the movie is so good you just forget that it's B&W.
