Again Everyone does it, just not as obvious as Bancroft. https://cricket.one/cricket-news/trescothick-reveals-how-england-masterminded-a-ball-tampering-ploy/62e146bf3094a4d5d6db12a9

Let's not get to precious. Your captain Michael Atherton is no cleanskin. Michael Atherton, 1994 In the "dirt in pocket" affair, then England captain Michael Atherton was accused of ball tampering during a Test match with South Africa at Lord's in 1994, after television cameras caught Atherton reaching into his pocket and then rubbing a substance on the ball. Atherton denied ball tampering, claiming that he had dirt in his pocket which he used to dry his hands. He was also accused of lying to the match referee. Atherton was summoned to the match referee and was fined £2,000 (equivalent to £4,200 in 2021[6]) for failing to disclose the dirt to the match referee.[7]

Being harsh on Green I think. You're talking about a 24 year old all rounder on his first tour to England. Already has a test 100 and a five for. His batting average of 35 compares favourably with other all rounders.

I wish it was a bit of banter. It's turned quite vitriolic though.

TBF, Stokes did ask for flat pitches to help Bazball. I don't think Captains should be commenting on what pitches they would like. Especially in the media. Just leave it up to the curators.

Was also 45 years ago. Both countries have done stuff they're probably not too proud off TBH.

Not going to get into all of the slagging off crap. For true lovers of the game, it's been a sensational series so far. Apart from this one, the first 3 tests were crackers that could've gone either way.

These are the last 6 Ashes series. 13-0 in Australia 6-6 in England

That's it for Round 19 Trend Setters. Rip and Chooka both picked the card. Well done boys. The Twix bars go to Rip for being closest to the margin. That's back to back wins for Rip now. Until next week. -
This one dropping now. Joe attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the CIA's war on terror. She enlists Cruz, a Marine Raider, as an undercover operative in the Lioness Program.

Over the counter stress/anxiety/sleeping meds?
Will27 replied to cocoonclub's topic in Health and Medicine
Sheryl, would the Melatonin you recommend be for a sleep aid, anxiety or both? -
London Kills I agree with you. Think it was made for daytime viewing, hence the lack of violence and honest dialogue. A very tame series IMO. Especially compared to Luther, Happy Valley etc.

Episodes 1 and 2 are dropping now.

What do we think of the proposed wildcard being introduced? I don't like it. IMO, if you're not good enough to finish in the top half of the table, you shouldn't be playing finals. Most of the people pushing it have a vested interest as it means more games and dollars for the broadcasters and the AFL. It's a no from me. -
This new one from the Beeb is getting good reviews. Follows the deaths of Peter Farquhar and Ann Moore-Martin in the village of Maids Moreton, Buckinghamshire, and the extraordinary events that unfolded in the following years.

Well Gents That's it for another round. Three picked 7 but this week's Dairy Milk goes to Rip Stanley for being closest to the margin. Until next week. -

Australian Aged Pension
Will27 replied to VOICEOVER's topic in Australia & Oceania Topics and Events
The ATO is not going to provide a link saying they won't chase your debt. That would be stupid. In just about most cases, legal action won't be taken to try and collect a debt when it is uneconomical to do so. Again, spending thousands of dollars to chase a $700 would be ridiculous. This is from a well known accounting firm: ATO determines a debt is not viable to pursue The ATO can determine that a tax debt is not viable to pursue, given the costs associated with pursuing it and the prospects of recovery. If you want to keep debating this issue, start a new thread. -

Again, you keep clouding the issue. I never mentioned the debt being released. I said the debt would be written off. You do know the difference between written off and release of a debt don't you?
