  1. first time - I am going sleep withdout a helmet - I hope I survive the night next - I am going to venture into the danger zone and take my bicycle for a ride OMG some ass---- on a scooter just passed me at 100kph not wearing a helmet he is the problem----- along with drunk drivers
  2. well that could happen so are you suggesting we should wear a helmet once we get out of bed, go back and read my original post, I was simply stating that it depends on your activity, would you wear a helmet while out walking ? - of course not simply because the chance of falling and hitting your head and dying are so remote it is not practical. My original post .............. helmet use depends largely on what you are doing, if scooting around town at bicycle speeds it's not so important.............I am saying it's not so important same as not so important when taking your dog for a walk, get it ? I own and ride a motorbike capable of 300kph have toured all over Thailand and beyond - I always wear a helmet and other gear when touring, nipping out to the 7/11 on a scooter not so important, but hey you know everything right and I have "no idea" put it another way, would you ride a bicycle wearing a full face motorbike helmet ? - if not why not, go on explain it
  3. very informative and also sad thanks for the info/update
  4. who would do that ? LMAO I suppose if your hands are tied behind your back you may or may not hit your noggin motorbike accidents that kill are generally not at 15-20kph which is exactly my point PS - I approve of helmet use, been riding big bikes for years including here in Thailand

  6. as part of the ceadfire - landmine locations should have been shared - this so called cease fire is nonsence, , mines are a tell, they pretty much have nothing left, if I was Thailand right now i would demand the location of mines and if they refuse then go for it
  7. yes a massive export and toursim boost OMG
  8. W T F if you make good food at reasonable prices you will be successfull this article makes no sense
  9. a motorbike could slide 100m but perhaps would need to be doing a lot more than 80kmh, it really depends on a lot on the construction of the bike, but lets say it slid 50m he was still moving a quite a lick perhaps 120kmh, it matters not, the fact he didn't slow approaching a junction says a lot
  10. does he not have a pension ?
  11. Thailand should demand the location of all these landmines, better still, let them clear them..........they probably have no clue where they placed them
  12. the more I see this story the more angry I get startingv to think this whole thing is fabricated nonsense but if it is not then some very sick people need to go to jail
  13. yes but you're sick mind thinks it's ok, what about your wife and kids you abandoned ?
  14. perhaps they were drunk, no way to tell because they fled the seen
  15. 12yo, W.......................T............................F and the police don't seem to think it's a problem sick Thailand
  16. why come to Thailand to do this when they know it's illegal
  17. this is the most idiotic thing I have heard in a very long time from Thailand officials, poker is not a sport it is 100% gambling with playing cards............. 100% GAMBLING............
  18. she says she was tending to other customers........ what other customers ? she says he was offering to buy her drinks ........never yet seen a bar worker refuse a drink my take on it - he bought her a drink and she ignored him and he got angry, he should not have reacted the way he did right or wrong - she is obviously mouthy and started the altercation - the rest is mute the american should have remained in his seat - these bar girls are more than capable of handling the situation although he may have ended up worse off so maybe the US guy did him a favour
  19. good post but like I said last year - I would not volunteer any info unless I was specifically asked by the revenue dept
