smedly replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
just posting what I am reading, people need to look at the sources but is a good heads up to investigate further Medical experts in Hong Kong have warned of the efficacy rate of the Sinovac vaccine against the Omicron variant, with govt public health advisor Yuen Kwok-yung saying that it didn’t provide sufficient antibodies to neutralise the Omicron variant. -
New COVID Cases Rise among Foreign Tourists in Phuket
smedly replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I would get a posting ban if I said what I wanted to say about this and meanwhile Two sources have said Hong Kong health authorities have determined China’s Sinovac vaccine is of no use against the Delta and Omicron variants, thus toughening control measures to minimise any chances of infection. About 40% of the inoculated population chose Sinovac. -

when the hospital that is going to bang you up at 10kbaht a day is doing the testing I would be very wary, there was a high profile case recently were a guy did a runner from a Bangkok hotel before he got the results of the final day test which was reported as possitive - he went to Samui I believe and was tested there within 24hrs and found to be negative - now try and explain that one, it ws never explained why you might want to read this Warning against traveling to Thailand - Thailand News - ASEAN NOW - News, Travel & Forum

I have been warning about this in several posts on here for weeks This is nothing but a money grabbing scam and before anyone sets foot in Thailand they need to be aware of what could happen to them Meanwhile Denmark has just declared all covid restrictions have ended ......................everything They now rate covid 19 as they do a cold or a mild flu and this is while detection rates are soring in the country is it time ? I don't think the public have the stomach for any more of this, you cannot stop omicron from spreading

Thailand report 8,008 new COVID-19 cases, 16 deaths, 8,215 recoveries
smedly replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
your post was great but I disagree with this statement regarding in Thailand In the west all deaths must be certified by a doctor or medical professional and a reason given for the death - not so in Thailand unless a person dies while in a hospital or sometimes if they are under close medical care. -
Thailand report 8,008 new COVID-19 cases, 16 deaths, 8,215 recoveries
smedly replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
it is still a risk for those that are unvaccinated or have not had a previous infection but you could also say that about the Flu - for the record I am not saying this is a flu or even not as bad as a flu - there is still not enough solid data which takes time -
