yes it (Omicron) is spreading fast and might be a big problem as early indications are that current vaccines offer little protection and it is more infectious than Delta But if it proves to be less harmful it could be the end of SARS CV 2 but it could also go the other way and then we are in big trouble I would bet money it is already in Thailand

no and soi 6-7 and 8 are shut and in darkness as is LK Metro, the only place serving beer is Treetown and it is packed to overflow every night with hundreds of people getting hammered, those that cannot cram in there are lining the street beside it buying drinks from the 7/11, Pattaya is not open with little prospect of that changing any time soon
