  1. Today, just received the electrictiy bill, adn it's risen by around 10 percent per unit, overall. A bit of a shock really. On further investigation as to why, I found this,

Electricity bills likely to go up Bt0.38 per kW/hr

Businesses and households are very likely to face an increase of 38.24 satang per kilowatt-hour in the cost of electricity during the September-December round, a source at the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said.

    Anyone feeling the pinch?

  2. When I first saw the thread title, I thought I would open it and find a racist joke. But alas, all I find is a bloke posting who was too afraid to say anything to three other at a bar in regards to their after shave strength. So in a pathetic attempt, he comes to a forum to stir up some negativity for bald blokes and South Americans in general.

Quickly, all people who of look of latin origins and all blokes with no hair, make apologies for the three punters aftershave, or in the future you may not be allowed entry into bars.

No room for conjecture and so on.

    Its called agitating, mate.

  4. I've known a couple of grifters in Thailand. First they start by asking to borrow ridiculously small amounts of cash, such as 20 baht. They would proceed to promptly pay their 'loan' back. After time they would hit you up for a much larger amount, such as two thousand baht or even a lot more, which they would never return. When asked for it back they would claim, that they'd fallen on hard times', until eventually you'd have to write it off as bad debt.

  5. Good news!

"Graduates with non-education degrees will find it easier to get teaching jobs, under a proposal before the government.

Education Minister Suchart Thada-Thamrongvech has instructed the Office of the Education Council (OEC) to look at amending the 2003 Teachers and Educational Personnel Council Act to make it easier for graduates to find work in the profession and help overcome a teacher shortage..."
