Excellent the truth is coming out at last and of course the man behind it was Obama. After all he did come from that part of the world and he probably brought it with him for just this sort of eventuality. These kids can be quite bright you know. I gather the USA also invented AIDS and that comes from monkeys and we all know where monkeys come from so he must have brought that along to the USA along with the Ebola virus. That man has a lot to answer for.
Now I must go and find the nurse I haven't had my tablets this morning.

I don't think the word "give" is the problem it the word "take" and there are usually a lot more who want to "take" what does not belong to them.

Why, didn't Lucian end up going to heaven.. Do you want this one to go to Hell?
Well apart from not believing in the concept of heaven and hell even if I did I don't think it would be for me to judge. My only point is that given these changes a lot of people are being upset so he had better bring the official taster back.
-
Lots of changes, upsetting lots of people do hope he doesn't go the same way as Luciani.

We are fortunate that they appointed themselves head of the Church of England. Where would we have been all these years without this moral compass to guide us.

What a shock given that Charles II spent most of his reign fornicating his way across England and that many of his predecessors and successors did likewise.

Protective screens are the same size as the older ipads.
When I asked in the Apple store in Siam they said no.
I checked again this time at the Apple store in Paragon and also the new one in Siam Discovery and they confirm what you say. It appears the staff in Siam Square are not that well up on things.

As I recall when I applied for my first retirement visa I had to provide a police report, in those days it cost £10. Why is it so difficult to insist on the same requirement for a work permit especially when that work concerns children?

Only now are some protective covers becoming available and as yet no protective screens.

I always go to Paris Miki located in Central World Zen department store for my glasses. Best glasses I have ever had and they fix and clean for free each time I take them back. Not sure if they can fix yours but they are a Japanese company and they appear to be very competent.

The Mai Mee's continue.
If I buy that iPad Air 2, do you have a cover to fit it? Mai Mee
Well do you have a screen protector? Mai Mee
One day some assistant is going to say Yes and a surprised farang will collapse in shock.

The Thai Supreme Court is making it's case for being tough on major criminals as we see the punishment they handed out to this world-class felon. No need focusing on drug kingpins, human traffickers and blatantly corrupt government officials when there are much more crucial cases to deal with such as prosecuting hardened trash collectors!!! I think Thailand has finally got a good handle on serious crime.
Maybe he should have asked for the case to be delayed while he produced another 10,000 witnesses.

It's strange how the apparent strongest of religeons and beliefs are built on lies and ultra hypocracy,in this case some credit (but not much) must be given to finally to admitting the truth! it makes one wonder if the worst is yet to be revealed.
Sam Harris put it quite well when he said that Mormonism was just Christianity with some more stupid ideas tacked on.

amazing. It's yet another reminder, to me, of why we don't need a Man-invented God and all the problems which come with it. Nature is infinitely fascinating. It works great for me. No scriptures, no edicts, no admonishments, no restrictions, no limits, just..... nature.
If you relied on nature, without mans laws and moral compass you probably would not live past 20.
True but if we relied on this so called god's law then we would still be living in the Middle Ages and you and I would not be using computers.

Thatcher was also reported to have tapped her head and told one of her aides that there was nothing in there referring to the President, I think she got that right. I recall watching him in one debate where he stopped half way through answering an economics question not sure whether he was meant to be for or against it. Reagan got away with it as he got away with many gaffes.

What's the big deal with this WD device? Talk about late to the party.
This is from 2013:
The Seagate Wireless Plus (successor to the Seagate GoFlex Satellite) and bigger LaCie Fuel are essentially laptop hard drives in an external chassis, equipped with a battery for mobile operation. (Both also let you pass your connection through the device to maintain your Internet access while using the drive.) Meanwhile, the SanDisk Connect Wireless Media Driveand Kingston Wi-Drive are based on a similar concept but use flash memory and come in at a much higher price per gigabyte. (We looked at 64GB and 32GB versions of these drives, respectively.)
For the DIY types in the crowd, or simply anyone with an old SATA-interface laptop drive sitting around gathering dust, the Patriot Gauntlet Node is another intriguing possibility. It's a wireless-drive chassis that operates much the same way as the Seagate drives, but you install your own drive. Patriot also offers a pre-populated version of this product (with a 320GB drive) in its Gauntlet 320.
I looked at the Seagate but I liked the idea that the WD had a place where you could plug an SD card into it.

In last week's copy of the Bangkok Post Life Tech the writer Akin reported that the Western Digital My Passport Wireless Devices were going to be launched at the Commart Comtech currently underway at the Queen Sirikit Centre.
Needless to say when you go there and ask to buy one the response is Mai Mee.
Walk into any Apple Shop and you will see a full list of specs along with prices of the latest IPad Air 2, needless to say if you ask for one Mai Mee.
I even had an amusing incident at my coffee shop where the young girl asked me which of the two cookies I wanted with my coffee when I selected she immediately replied Mai Mee as there was only the one variety available.

Is the cellular one available ?
No I tried two major Apple shops today in Central Bangkok they have a IPad Air 2 on display along with a list of all the models and the prices but only the WiFi model is available.
They said the WiFi + Cellular will be available at the end of this month the 128GB costs 28400 baht.
-
They've got them today at iStudio in Central. See my post about buying apple stuff
Is that the 3G/4G and WiFi model or just WiFi?
I just checked with two of the Apple stores in central Bangkok and the cellular model is not available until the end of the month.
Their display shows all models listed and prices the 128GB WiFi + Cellular IPad Air 2 is listed as 28k4.

The German economy is having a hard time of it because of the sanctions so it looks as if it is working out well for the Russians. Anyway they don't need so many dollars now they have started closing MacDonalds.

I gave up using my UK bank cards in Thailand and for that matter outside the UK following the charges the banks piled on top for any withdrawals.

I agree but if you are a banker the only way you are going to see the inside of a prison is if you kill a few women.
