Zhang Lei, the spokesman of Red Bull Company's Beijing branch, told the Beijing-based paper that "Our products, which are made on the Chinese mainland, do not contain cocaine and other ingredients banned under the Chinese food safety regulations."
With the exception of scrap paper, insect parts, and / or lead.

I noticed 2 empty ice-cream tubs, each with a small plastic spoon in the waste bin next to the toilet.
Now you know where Swensen's prepares their banana split.

Is it the same people that get into these childish arguments about condolences every time we have a post involving dealths, or is it different people each time? Geesh.
In other worrds - ouch!

I see these convoys of coaches quite often. They are often being driven like racing cars with little regard for their own or anyone elses safety.
Is there any point at all in offering condolences in this forum? I very much doubt that anyone involved in the accident reads this.
Does it really matter that they're not read, people are voicing their thoughts thats all.
No, it does not "matter" in the sense that it does not cause any harm to anybody. It does, however, convey an impression that the person who purports to extend condolences which will never reach their target is perhaps ignorant concerning his or her own language. Nothing unusual about that for TV, though.
In another fred, someone offered condolences to fans of David Carradine. I can't express how much it means to be consoled in my moment of grief by someone on an anonymous forum.

The Phetkasem, too? Oh crap...
I need to get out to Nakorn Pathom next week. Anybody have a smart alternative?
If you don't want to fly, you could take a train from Hualamphong Railway Station in Bang Lamphu, Bangkok to one of the Northeastern provinces like Khorat or Ubon, and then take a bus to Nakhon Phanom. I don't know which would be the better place to board a bus to Nakhon Phanom though, since most information that I can find is for routes originating in Bangkok.
Best of luck to you.

Yes, but you could also do it the easy way without the Isaan sightseeing detour; and take a 1 hour boat ride from Bangkok to Nakorn Pathom.

This is what Thais want:
farang either send tubs of money here by mail, no strings attached - as many already do - sending money to bar girls galore (...and to Pussy Galore?).
Or, rich farang show up, stay at sequestered resorts, see a wat, get a mud facial. Spend tubs of money, leave big tips, then leave soon. Bye bye, sawadee crap, come back when you have lots more money. Kittung tee rak.
Absolutely spot-on.

Wonder how many hi-so Thai Indians will line up to show off theirs?
None, because they're all driving the other iconic Indian car - Jaguar.

Does anyone know if Kim has stopped laughing yet?

Sometimes i think they should just execute all the fortuner owners.
Why? Isn't driving a Fortuner enough of a punishment already?

Hepitits is a big deal with migrant workers.
Probably also with those migrant workers in the dive business.

Rats forcing an airport to close - hmm where have I heard that before...

In one company I worked in it seemed every manager's secretary was sleeping with her boss (except me, of course).
Everyone knows that a secretary is never permanent unless screwed on the desk.

Where can I find some Kola nuts?

You can open a UK offshore account on the internet, with a Thai address. I did a few years ago. No problems.
Thanks Dominator. Can you advise me how to do this as I'm green at all of this? Can you give me a 'dummy's guide' to setting that up?
I will come clean with you all... the reason I don't want to use UK financial institutes is because I left some debt in the UK (15k) about 5 years ago. I am concerned that using a UK bank will make me pop up on the radar; would that enable the banks I owe money to to track me down and recover their funds?
Thanks again for the help,
EZ.
Hmm, let's see now, you will have the money transferred to my account and give me a hefy commission, if I first pay the overdue debt on your behalf, no? God bless me and all that.

What is it with youngsters these days wearing their trousers/pants half way down their arse, it just looks ridiculous. Answers anyone?
Half way down or half way up, it all depends on the point of view.

That explains Tigers anaemic look at Quail Hollow.

Just loose a little face, and declare the ASEAN summit to be held in Singapore instead of Thailand.
End of story.
Or, Thailand could set a trend by being the first to host a virtual Asean summit by video conferencing.
But wait, hi-speed internet has not yet been invented in Thailand.

Passengers at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport can now enjoy free Internet access while waiting to catch their flights, effective Thursday.
How about free internet on arrival - while waiting for the luggage or until trollies become available?

Yes to both posts. The Red Shirts have ruined hopes of reconciliation with their continual, non-reconciliation rhetoric.
I agree. It must be particularly disappointing for those like you who have consistently loooked for compromise and reconciliation.

But for unknown reasons skid-Mark and his cronies thought that they were all holding their breath
They realised that the schedule is not acceptable, though, didn't they?
Duh?

Don't know about the Arabs, but the Chinese and Indians have been here long before palefaces argued their first barfine. And they will be here long after we have left (read "kicked out" as in the other thread).
