  1. What a lot of <deleted>. Government doesn't care for the nations health. This is all about maintaining power and control. They are <deleted>ting themselves about what will happen once and if they remove the emergency decree.
  2. They are incompetent and will eventually be removed. The damage they have done to the economy and to the Thai people will take many years to recover from.
  3. I believe Chris Smith would love to get a huge settlement from Will Smith.???? Chris Rock on the other hand most likely doesn't need the money.

  5. Firestick on Lazada is an option for you. I have the Firestick Max and use it every day. Small and lightweight and great for travelling too. Have Netflix, Prime video and another paid app. Also smart youtube which is free of advertisements. Iplayer also works well on it. Use Kodi on it every day for free to air tv plus movies and tv shows.
  6. Nord Vpn works for me to access all the free to air Australian channels. I use the slyguy repo on Kodi. Brilliant addon which has all the Australian free to air channels and works all the time. In the settings you can nominate your preferred city.
  7. They certainly have a vested interest but they are are also applying some common sense to the situation which is clearly more practical than the governments onerous ongoing restrictions.
  8. Correct. It is a complete shambles with no clear direction given by the government. Best to wait until they wake up to the fact they are losing millions of tourist dollars to other more progressive countries and will then remove their onerous and nonsensical entry requirements.
  9. Philippines no longer requires a PCR test prior to travel. They now require an antigen test only. No tests on arrival.
  10. First of all I was polite in my question to the poster. Perhaps you could be polite also instead of being argumentative. You state you are not sure what happens if someone tests positive on their day 1 test and go test. That is the whole point of the discussion. The poster stated quite clearly that people who test positive and have mild or no symptoms will not be sent to hospital. He at this time cannot provide a link to back up his claim. I further note you are attacking me yet you are not questioning the poster who made the claims that he at this stage cannot back up. Is there any particular reason you have launched an impolite attack on me? Please advise. I was politely requesting a link to confirm the posters statement. I have no need of point scoring as you have claimed.
  11. Would like you to supply a link please to confirm your statement that people with mild or no symptoms will not be admitted to hospital.
  12. Opening post. "Hello. I am planning on coming to Thailand on 10day AQ. In case of asymptomatic/mild case of Covid during the quarantine, can they force me to go to hospital/hospitel if I refuse? I am concerned about the costs. From what I've read, insurance companies don't cover such cases." OP is asking about being forced to go to hospital or hospitel if he tests positive but is asymptomatic or has a mild case as noted above. I believe no insurance policy will cover this.
  13. Until they remove hospitalisation for asymptomatic cases informed tourists are unlikely to arrive in any meaningful numbers. Tourists will not put up with onerous entry requirements and will go elsewhere.
  14. Please supply information regarding which insurance companies do cover asymptomatic cases. My understanding is none will cover this and with good reason.
  15. Current issues and changes to individual tax residency rules (holdingredlich.com) This may assist. My understanding is if you spend 183 days each year in Australia you will be fine. You will keep your Australian tax residency.
  16. Good post. However neighbouring countries restrictions are much more sensible and tourist friendly than Thailands. Thailand is still clinging to the belief that they are special and are a tourism mecca. That ship sailed a long long time ago. Either through incompetence or by design they are continuing to decimate their tourist industry along with tourism employees lives and futures.
  17. "Thailand dropped its quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated visitors in November, with thousands of arrivals flocking to the country since". The statement regarding dropping its requirement for fully vaccinated tourists is a bald faced lie.
