  1. Scamland still tries to lure unknowing tourists so they can get Quarantine for two days. Tests on day one and five. with a good chance of being hospitalised potentially at your own cost. A total scam designed to extract as much money as possible.
  2. Genuine tourists do not have the option of isolating at home. The real question is why are asymptomatic foreigners being sent to hospitals when they clearly do not need any medical treatment and end up being forced to pay an outlandish bill for a hospital stay that was not needed. The answer as we all know is because it is a money making scheme. Nothing to do with the health of the person who is Asymptomatic.
  3. Thailand is a daily circus providing laughs with every silly decision they make.
  4. You are correct. Good sensible post. However all these barriers placed before incoming tourists are in my opinion quite deliberate. They are actively discouraging tourism whilst giving the illusion to the world that they are open for business. They proudly claim there is no more quarantine yet as we all know Test and go forces two separate nights in a SHA + hotel with the associated expenses of a further two PCR tests, travel from the airport etc etc. They change the insurance conditions at the drop of a hat to further inconvenience and to fleece tourists. Asymptomatic tourists are forced into expensive hospitals which in all likelihood the insurance will not cover. There is absolutely no reason for genuine tourists to travel to Thailand now. Unless they are willing to run the gauntlet and are prepared for a lengthy hospital stay with the associated outlandish costs.
  5. I like your thought about the government changing the rules regarding the hospitalisation/hospitelisation and I sincerely hope it happens. But as it is such a money spinner for them it will be hard for them to see common sense ahead of the almighty greed that they always exhibit.
  6. The best thing for them to do is stay home. Everyone is much safer then.
  7. Agree with you and this is exactly what he wants. Keep the public fearful and then they will more readily accept the onerous and stupid ongoing restrictions.
  8. What will be presented to the public as to his fate will often be very different to what actually happens.
  9. For someone unknown reason you are again as you always do attacking any poster who disagrees with you. Your post is irrelevant, meaningless and just plain childish. Interestingly you choose to attack my post but not others who share the same opinion as me. You remind me of a schoolyard bully who picks upon someone you perceive to be weak to cover up their own inadequacies.
  10. And I agree with them 100%. And it has nothing to do with their race. It is about their behaviour!
  11. Easier to simply place them on ignore as many have done no doubt.
  12. Your experience while good is not shared by many others. There are lots of horror stories out there about immigration. "Everything to do with immigration in this country is so unnecessarily difficult" is 100% correct.
  13. You are 100% correct. Thailand also like to have complete control over foreigners whether they are living in Thailand or simply visiting. Thai pass is a clear example of that and is completely unnecessary. There is clearly enough money in the trough for the powers that be to feed upon without any regards to tourism anymore.
  14. What they want and what they get will be completely different. People with spending power are not interested in a third world backwater. Lots of competition around the world for the high spenders and Thailand does not even remotely offer the services that they demand. Thailands only chance of regaining even a moderate amount of tourism in the coming years is from the same demographic that has always been attracted to their country.
  15. Tourism in Thailand - Wikipedia Not really sure where you got 5% from. Most reputable websites indicate far higher official figures.
  16. After that important news from the BBC I will make sure I watch the show shortly.
  17. Facebook groups in Angeles are reporting bars are open in Walking street. And have been for several months. Plenty of ladies available to look after you.
  18. Strongly disagree. I see drivers running red lights daily when I travel and also in my home town in Isaan.
  19. The purpose is to continue to give the hotels and associated hospitals extra income!
