  1. I got blood tests done recently and my testosterone is low.

I'm trying to find the cheapest and best way of taking it.

I took testocaps for 2 months before I got the tests done and was still low.

I now want to double my dose of testocaps of 6 caps a day.

That works out at 4200bht a month.

I have been trying to find injectable testoserone that I can do myself but

can't get it in Chiang Rai.

I've been to a doctor but he would only give me an injection every month

and it's an overnight trip to the city to go see him.

What should I do.The only options I can think of are going to a big city like Bangkok and

trying to find a pharmacy there to sell me a box of injectables.

I have heard of a doctor in Pattaya who lets people inject themselves but Pattaya is so  far.

I can buy the gel online but I don't know if that's any cheaper than the capsules.

Does any body know how many satchets of gel I would have to use for the equivelent of

12 testocaps per day and how much all that would cost.

I could mix testocaps with the one injection a month from the doctor in Chiang Rai but that still

    involve travel.

If any body has a specific pharmacy that they know that sells injectable testoserone that would be great but maybe

they should Private Message  me that one.

Thanks all.......I really need to do something and would really appreciate some advice.

  2. Thanks,I will try Agoda,

I will be arriving in Nakon Phanom in the evening and I

will get a Song Teao or Taxi into which ever hotel I choose.

I would love to know the price of the cheapest way into the town center.

There will be lots of guys at the door of the airport hassling me and

I will get ripped off if I don't know the score.

Does anybody know how to get into NP from the airport.

Are there Song Taeo's,tuk-tuk's or metered taxi's and what's the price.

  3. I have to go to Savanakhet again for a visa run.

I have been there before but still need some advice.

This time I'm going to fly to Nakhon Phanom and stay the night.

I will arrive at the airport at about 8pm and will want to go to to

Muktahan or the Friendship bridge the next morning on my way to Savanakhet

So I will need a taxi to a cheap hotel and presumably a taxi to the bus station

    in the morning.

If any one could recommend a cheap hotel, near or on the way to the bus station

and how much a taxi or tuk-tuk will cost to get there.

Then what is the best way to go to Laos in the morning.

Also does anybody know what is needed for the One year, multiple entry visa

on the grounds of marriage in Savanakhet.

  4. I have never gotten a proper diagnosis of fibromyalgia.

I thought it was just muscle pain and that it would go away.

I told them about the muscle pain.

Is there an amount that people pay for treatment without claiming from there insurance. An amount that it would be better to pay yourself because it would be cheaper than loosing your no claims bonus.

There is also the question of whether they will approve Hormone Replacement therapy for fibromyalgiia.

  5. I have health insurance with LMG and have been with them for about 2 years.

i have had fibromyalgia for years now but I want to get blood tests now to see if

    hormone replacement therapy will help.

The tests will cost 10,000 and will have to be done 2 or 3 times then there is the

injections and visits to a specialist.

I don't know weather or not to use my insurance to pay for it.

When they asked about any existing health problems on the application form I said

    muscle pain.

Is it worth using my insurance or would I loose my "no claims bonus" and end up paying more in the long run.

Would they pay for hormone replacement therapy for fibromyalgia and are there other issues that I haven't

    thought of.

  6. O.k so I got that one right..........and don't need any more help

    on that issue.

But I still have to teach them but I have to teach them conversation class. My wife asked me to do this because she and they are blue in the face from learning grammar.

Does any one know some good books or websites for Conversation Class.

  7. I'm trying to figure out the Thai curriculum in the Thai government schools.

I started teaching elementary school aged kids(my wife gives private classes on Sundays and

she asked me to help).  I got Oxford English Press elementary school books and all went well. The Oxford books seemed to have the same grammar as what they were learning at the Thai school.

I did the same with the teenagers in the first 3 years of high school.  The Oxford press books had the same grammar as the books they use in the Thai school.  As if there was an international standard that they followed.

All was fine until I was asked to teach teens in the last 3 years of high school.   The grammar from there school books seemed to take a huge leap forward and was no where near the Oxford University press books for that age group.

I'm not a qualified teacher and my wife has never taught anything but Thai school books.  So my question is "is there an international standard for  teaching English and "does the grammar in the last 3 years of high school in Thai schools jump way ahead of this standard.

Also there doesn't seem to be any essays in there exams which was the first thing you had to do

when I was taking my high school exams.

  8. I have the program Inaudible but it won't run on some files.

I buy the files legit from you know who and usualy have no problems

    but some times I do.

This time it's saying that the output path is too long for windows and to

    please adjust your output path.

I tried changing the file name in all the places I could think of but

    it didn't work.

    What can I do..........

  9. Thanks Sheryl.

She got out of hospital after spending 5 days inside it.

As you said she was given an appointment to come back and will have to come back every month for a while.

She is back home now and must be able to look after herself.if she was left there.

Is this something that she can recover from or is there a risk of this happening

    again.

Will she be on medication for the rest of her life.

As I said she had trouble with her hart before and is on medication for that for the rest of her life.

She is good at going to the follow up appointments though.

First thing she did when she got home was to spark up a nice big cheap  Burmese cigar.

She must be seriously sick if she had a stroke and a pulmonary edema come to think of it.She must be in danger of getting a hart attack or another stroke or something.Don't you think........

  10. My Thai Mother in law got a pulmonary Edema a few days ago.

She was in hospital when my wife got the call.

My wife left to take care of her in the hospital.

All I know is that she has to stay in hospital for a few days and

get injections in her stomach and she has a "hoa Dto".

I went online and translated "Hua Dto" into pulminary adema and learned  what it was

but what I really want to know is how she is going to be when she gets out.

Is she still going to be able to take care of herself.

She lives in a "hong taow",rooms in a row so she has lots of neighbors.

I'm up here in the mountains with no one to talk to.Can any body tell me how bad this thing is.How

will she be when she comes out of hospital. How will she  be in a years time.Is she in danger of getting a hart attack.

She had a mild stroke about a year ago but it was very mild and the put her on meds.

  11. The only doctor I would trust is 5 hours drive away and I keep getting different advice about weather to see one or not.

I will take it slowly and see how it goes.

My book says do one hormone at a time.

First get insulin under control by changing your diet and eating low carbs,no sugar for a month. Then get your insulin tested.which will be at the end of this month for me.

Then stop drinking too much coffee and any thing else that affects your adrenals, wait for a month and get cortisol and DHEA tested. That will be at the end of next month for me.

    Then sort your Thyroid out.

They say there is no point in getting your Testosterone tested untill your adrenals and Thyroid glands are functioning well because they will affect your testosterone levels.

I will try this system and if I need a doctor I will get one.

  12. Yes I must decide what to do when I get the results.

There seems to be 3 levels which people go for.

Normal is what endocrinoligests go for.

Optimal is what anti-aging doctors go for

and freakish is what bodybuilders go for.

I want to go for optimal.I don't know that number yet but

they say it's the biological levels of a 30 year old man.

    I am 52 years old.

I'm looking for a good doctor near me but I might have to go

to Chiang Mai city..I'm just doing some tests first and trying to educate

myself a little before  I decide what to do

  13.  Thanks a lot..........that's great news. It's a load off my mind to know I can afford it.

I am going for Thyroid tests tomorrow and may get cortisol,DHEA and testoserone

    done as well.

I've just been recommended a place that does all this at Thai prices.

When I get the results do I need to see a doctor and get advice and a prescription or can I figure it out online.

I have a book that I want to follow. It says do every hormone in a certain order.

Insulin first so I went on a low carb,no sugar died.

Then Cortisol then Thyroid and Testosterone.

Can that amount of Test(100mg per week) be taken with out a break every so often.

  14. I want to get my hormones checked out in an anti-aging clinic or an endocrinologist or at least

get a battery of blood tests done.

Does any body know any where they can recommend.

I was searching online I found clinics recommended in Chiang Rai.I found a clinic in Mae Faa Luang University

    but no one recommending it.

I suppose all the hospitals are the same for the quality in blood tests but are any of them cheaper than others.

The government will not do all the tests on demand.

  15. I would also love to know how Testosterone injections compare in price with Testocaps.

I can get HOM brand testocaps 40mg at 400bht for 30 capsules.

    That's 1200bht a month taking 3 capsules a day.

Can any one tell me what they spend on testoserone injections if the buy them at the pharmacy.

  16. I am thinking of going to see if I need Testosterone Replacement Therapy but

first I want to see if I can afford it first.

I have been online trying to see what I need and what it will cost.

Searching on Thaivisa I found that the tests will cost about 3k but that's O.K because it's only every

3 months but I can't figure out approximately how much the injections will cost.

I know the dose depends on the test results but I am going on an average dose just to work out the price.

Online it says 50mg of Test Enanthate or Cypionate twice a week but on TV I only see the price for 10ml viles.

Does any body know how to convert the 50mg dose to ml"s.

What do I ask for in the pharmacy and how much will it cost for "50mg of Test Enanthate or Cypionate".

I will try injecting myself first or maybe I will go to my local GP with the stuff and get her to

inject me.I'm too far from any clinic to go in every time.I need to know the rough cost before I get the tests.

I don't want to get the tests and then find that I can't afford the meds.

  17. Thanks,I will try that app.

I have been on google and found that I cup of cooked oats is 33gm of carb

I cup of cooked buckwheat is about the same

1 cup of white rice is 55gm carb

So 1 cup of any of these is o.k for 1 meal,3 times a day and is quick to measure.

Does that sound right to you.

The next thing I need to do is measure noodles, dried brown rice noodles and fresh rice noodles.I wil probably have to weigh them which won't be as convenient as measuring a cup.

    Any ideas...............
